While vacationing in El Salvador, our newly built and air conditioned 4000 square foot, five bedroom, five bathroom, ocean front home is the perfect place to relax and escape from your everyday stress. Mi Sueño is waiting for you to plan an intimate getaway or a family vacation.

Mi Sueño is located in the private and secure beach community of Bahia Dorada 1 hour from the Comalapa International Airport. It provides a great home-base for those interested in exploring El Salvador and all of Central America. The property is south of the Bálsamo mountain range at 74 kilometres on highway Litoral, in the state ('Departamento') of La Libertad. The Pacific Ocean is to the southwest, and the valley is surrounded by native forest. The Metayo river crosses through Bahia Dorada and flows mightily in the green season.

Stroll through the one acre garden property and enjoy the vast array of flowers, citrus trees, and over a dozen varieties of palm trees. Here you will also meet Don Jose who has been the gardener of this property for over 15 years, and Julio, who will entertain you by climbing the trees to pick coconuts for your enjoyment. Finally, you will find yourself walking right up to the beach to relax in the sun, feel the ocean breeze and listen to the crashing waves.

Just beyond the beautiful grounds, you will enjoy the warm Pacific Ocean waves while you admire the two sea cliffs that surround the beach. The valley surrounding the beach includes views of the bluffs and private community of Bahia Dorada. Be sure to experience the breathtaking sunsets that creates a mirror effect when the light reflects on the volcanic black sand beach.

This is my second time staying at Mi Sueno, and it has never disappointed me! Carlos is a pleasure to work with and makes planning a vacation simple and straightforward. Once in El Salvador, the transportation was comfortable for 13 of us, complete with refreshments for the ride. The house itself is gorgeous with private pool and beautiful furnishings and comfortably fit all of our group. The staff responds to all needs and cooked delicious El Salvadoran food. We didn't want to leave, and I'm looking forward to my 3rd trip to Mi Sueno!

We loved everything ! The gorgeous house, the private pool, the quiet beach, the impeccable service and the great food. El Salvador really has much to offer, and Mi Sueno is an excellent base to explore the country. Thanks for a great time!

Beautiful, quiet and magical location that is immaculately maintained. Would love to have stayed forever. Lots of places to visit within easy driving distances. El Salvador is a beautiful, safe and peaceful country with little or no tourists. The people have a lot of pride which is refelcted in their smiles, attitude and care for the natural beauty of the countryside. When I return I will want to stay at Mi Sueno for sure.

This was one of the most amazing beach houses I have ever stayed at. The proximity to the beach, the impeccable service, and the abundance of hospitality definitely make me want to return in the very near future.
