About Diane and Gerry Pasterick

Every day . . . and often more than once or twice a day, both Diane and Gerry Pasterick feel grateful to be on this spectacular property enjoying the serene beauty and gracious bounty of this land. Our 17 acre ranch with 10 acres planted to Syrah and Viognier provides exceptional fruit for the production of our Estate Syrah co-fermentated with Viognier, Rose' of Syrah and Viognier. We invite you to join us in our Wine Cave . . . dug into our 120 Million Solid Granite Hillside and spend time on this historic property, originally developed in 1913.

Diane and Gerry Pasterick purchased this tower in 1998

Why Diane and Gerry Pasterick chose Healdsburg

The Dry Creek Valley is a treasure and considered the jewel of this prime wine growing region in Sonoma County. Ten acres of this seventeen acre ranch are planted to Syrah and Viognier. The terrior of this hillside property produces fabulous grapes which go into our Estate Syrah, Viognier and Rose'. In January of 1999 we began developing more planted vineyard, remodeled and renovated the c.1913 farmhouse and barn, commissioned a wine cave dug into the 120 million granite steep hillside near one of the seasonal waterfalls, and designed and built our family home . . .

We enjoy the beauty of our surroundings in the Dry Creek Valley and the exceptional Healdsburg Community and all it has to offer . . . This is Wine Country at its best . . . only one hour and twenty minutes from San Francisco and the greater north bay.

What makes this tower unique

Whether you are a wine enthusiast, an outdoors person interested in hiking, biking, walking, boating, fishing, etc., or someone who enjoys dining out at terrific restaurants, sight seeing in this beautiful part of the world or simply surrounding yourself in the peaceful serenity and calm with a good book after a game of Petanque and a walk through the orchard, the forest or between the vine rows you will find your interests met with pleasure.

Weekend in Wine Country

  • 5 of 5
We booked Belle Torre the weekend prior to a trip to San Fran so my husband and I could enjoy wine country in the fall. We had our first visit to the winery in the Spring and knew we already loved the wine and found Gerry and Diane to be such great hosts for a wine tasting that staying on the property was a "sure thing" for an excellent experience this visit. The accomodations were very comfortable and a great launching point for our ventures each day. In addition we enjoyed another visit with Gerry and Diane in the wine cave learning more about their wonderful wine.

Perfect base for wine-country adventures

  • 5 of 5
My wife and I stayed here for a weekend. The view and scenery from this vineyard hilltop studio is fabulous, and the accommodations are ideal for a couple's getaway. The host and hostess are winemakers and just lovely people who invited us for a private tasting in their winery cave. Yum! A destination in its own right, this place is also a perfect location for wine country explorations whether on bike or by car.

Fantastic Way To Experience Sonoma

  • 5 of 5
I loved everything about my stay. The winery-a unique combination of traditional farm and modern tasting cave-is one of the most beautiful in the area. The owners of the winery and studio are warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. The studio is spacious, quiet, elegant and romantic. From your perch at the high-end of the hillside winery, you can wander down to the orchards and the amazing cave. The studio is located in one of the loveliest, most rural parts of Sonoma, and is a short drive from the restaurants and shops in Healdsburg. I would definitely stay here again.

The Dry Creek Valley is the Treasure and Jewel of Sonoma County. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Belle Torre and look forward to your next visit.

Amazing Experience!!

  • 5 of 5
We absolutely loved our stay at Pasterick Vineyards. The place is absolutely magical. Gerry and Diane were the perfect hosts - we adore them. The apartment is perfect! It's immaculate, beautifully decorated and had every thing we could have needed including a breath taking view. It was so fun to see the bottling in action. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting in the wine cave, walking around the Vineyard and every recommendation that Gerry and Diane gave us for places to eat and things to do. So beautiful, so peaceful, so perfect. We miss Gerry, Diane and Pasterick already and can't wait to return. We will definitely be back, hopefully one day soon!

Wonderful Weekend Away

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I live in Marin and were looking for a nice weekend get-away to celebrate our anniversary. We are so delighted to have discovered Belle Torre, only an hour drive from our home. It was perfect in every way. After we settled into our tastefully decorated studio, the owners Diane and Gerry invited us to join them in their wine cave. They graciously served lovely cheeses and fruit while we sampled their delicious wines made from the grapes grown on the property. It was fun sharing travel stories and talking about wine, food, and adventures.

We enjoyed walking around the property, reading, relaxing and exploring the nearby town of Healdsburg with its many art galleries, great food and interesting shops. At the end of our stay we departed with wonderful memories, beautiful pictures, some terrific wine and plans to return soon to visit with Diane and Gerry at Belle Torre.
