WHY CONSIDER THIS PROPERTY FOR YOUR TIME IN TELLURIDE?

This property is a split-level one bedroom condominium located on West Pacific Avenue in the “west end” of the historic Town of Telluride. At OVER 750 SQUARE FEET THIS PROPERTY IS MUCH LARGER than almost any one-bedroom units in Telluride including Lulu City, Viking Lodge, Cimarron Lodge, Etta Place & Muscatel Flats. There is a big carpeted interior storage room and a lockable hallway ski/bike closet. It is an upper corner end unit.

This is a great choice for the summer festival season. You are close enough to easily walk/bike ride/Town bus it to the Town Park (along West Pacific or the River Trail) for the festivals, but when the festival day is over you can get a little sepration from the crowds.

THE SAN MIGUEL RIVER & RIVER TRAIL ARE RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. The waters from Colorado's tallest free-falling waterfall, Bridal Veil Falls, and Ingram Falls in Telluride's box canyon together form the headwaters of the San Miguel, one of the last undamned rivers in the state. The River Trail is a beautiful flat walk that runs east/west along the San Miguel (east to the Town Park and west out along the Valley Floor) for year-round recreation opportunities.

THERE IS A REALLY NICE BRAND NEW COMMON INDOOR/OUTDOOR HOT-TUB/STEAM ROOM RIGHT AT THE END OF THE HALL. One of the tubs, the steam room, a shower & bathroom are inside and the second hot tub is now outside, looking right up at the Ski Area across the street! This area is password protected and available 10am - 10pm daily for your use & enjoyment.

TELLURIDE'S LARGEST GROCERY STORE (Clark's Market) is in the building LITERALLY RIGHT NEXT DOOR. Clark's is open 7am to 9am and offers full deli/butcher services. It's a 30 second walk.

A BRAND NEW DELI (Zest Deli, opened January 2012) is also in the building RIGHT NEXT DOOR.

The NEW TELLURIDE VISITORS CENTER is located above Clark's Market and also RIGHT NEXT DOOR. The Visitors Center is a great resource, with info on all the current happenings in and around Telluride.

SHIP IT/COPY IT is RIGHT NEXT DOOR AS WELL. This company provides packaging/shipping options (including luggage, snowboard, ski & golf club shipping) for your Telluride travel. They also provide copy/print/office services. Ship your stuff out and have it waiting for you right next door when you arrive - so easy!

Clark's Market is open from 7am to 9pm for all your grocery/breakfast/lunch/dinner/misc needs - couldn't be easier. When walking to the short covered distance to the grocery store you'll pass the new Zest Deli and Telluride's new Visitors Center as well as the Ship It/Copy It store.

It is a split-level end unit with sunny south and east orientation.

Entry is on the lower level.

Living, dining, full kitchen and storage room are on the mid level.

Bedroom, full bath (with tub) and washer/dryer are on the upper level.

The living level has two couches including a queen pull-out sofa sleeper, a 4-person dining table, breakfast bar and kitchen with full size appliances including dishwasher. A large bedroom has big western facing windows, a nice King size bed, full size dresser & mirror, a walk-in closet (with extra pillows/blankets), two clock radios and a wall mounted TV and DVD player. The updated bath located off the bedroom has a travertine marble vanity, marble floors, stacked washer/dryer (with detergent, fabric softener, etc), shower/tub and Kohler toilet.

The locally made custom alder wood entertainment center in the living room has a 32' LCD TV with over 60 channels including HBO, some HD programming and dozens of programmed radio stations. There is a Sony IPOD docking station/radio unit so you can listen to KOTO-FM Telluride and a DVD/CD/VCR player.

Other immediate neighborhood businesses (within one block) include a favorite Thai restaurant (Siam), take-out gourmet deli (Aemono), liquor store with extensive wine selection (Pacific Street Liquors), a great new small tapas bar (There...).

The shops, galleries, restaurants & bars in the historic commercial core of Telluride's Main Street are just a few blocks away, as is the free Gondola to the Mountain Village which you can also use for ski access. You can easily walk to the Gondola year round (under 10 minute walk), or you can always jump on the free Galloping Goose town bus which comes by the property on West Pacific Avenue every 10 minutes (20 minutes after 8pm).

Our first time in Telluride. The condo was perfect for one couple! Great location, parked our vehicle and never had to use until we left for the airport at the end of our trip. Two blocks from the main gondola, two blocks from downtown. Next door to the grocery store! Very clean and the owner Jay was very helpful. We would definitely rent the condo again when we come back. It was great!

This property is much larger than most one bedroom condominiums in Telluride and enjoys great views of the surrounding mountain peaks. It is a corner end unit. There is ample interior/hallway storage and parking. Having the grocery store right next door is very, very convenient. The pictures posted of the property are current. This apartment is in one of the most convenient locations in downtown Telluride. The largest grocery store in Telluride (Clark's Market) is right next door for all your breakfast, lunch, dinner and general grocery needs - you barely have to go outside to get there. Chair 7 (one of only two ski lifts that come down into the Town of Telluride) is directly across West Pacific Avenue! Walk down the hall, cross West Pacific Avenue, and you are at the lift! Easy!

The total lift served vertical drop is 3,845 feet, including the 4.6 mile long Galloping Goose trail (beginner/intermediate). The skiing trails at Telluride are 23% Beginner, 36% Intermediate & 41% Advanced / Expert. These are the biggest and prettiest mountains in the West.
