Location: Bath, North Carolina (50 Minutes to Greenville or New Bern, 20 Min. to Washington, 90min from Atlantic Beach and 2 hours from Manteo/Upper Outer Banks, NC).
Accommodations: Home built in 1994 with full laundry, kitchen and linen supplied with 3 Bedrooms, 2 full baths (Sleeps 5-6). Two main floor bedrooms, each with a double bed and easy access to the main floor bathroom. Dining area in breakfast nook seats six comfortably with a Weber gas grill on the deck. Great room with 28 foot ceiling has a large couch and seating areas for 8 – 10 people with a great sound system and 27 inch TV with cable and VCR and DSL internet. Sit on the deck and watch the sunset over Bath Creek. Deep water dock for sailing or motorboating to the Pamilco River and Pamilico Sound and easy access to a motorboat launch. Dock extends into Back Creek over 220 feet from the backyard and can also be used for fishing. You can feel yourself decompressing on the deck looking at the waterfowl with your favorite drink.

Hike around Goose Creek State Park just 2 miles away with great trails and creeks in which to kayak. Learn about the history of Bath & why it stayed so small for so very long. Neighboring towns of Belhaven & Washington are fun to explore. Explore the fossil museum in Aurora, which is a short ferry ride across the river from Bayview. There you can mine for fossilized sharks teeth with small shovels. The ferry is free & a few miles from the house. Travel to the ocean for day trips.
