Thanks Debbie for a wonderful stay at Casa Colinas. The house was perfect for our family of five, including three teens who enjoyed the view as much as we did. We found everything we needed and the privacy was a treat after long days in town. We hope to visit LA again and will certainly make Casa Colinas our first priority for hospitality! Thanks for everything.

Perfect Hollywood Getaway with the Girls

  • 5 of 5
Three girlfriends and I just spent a magical weekend at Casa Colinas. When we got to the house and walked down onto the balcony, we couldn't believe this was going to be our home for the next three days. The view is just unreal. The house is simply beautiful and very clean and comfortable. Debbie provided thorough notes about the specifics of the house and even offered plenty of suggestions of things to do while we were in town. The location was perfect and we felt close to everything. We all agreed we'd love to make this trip and staying at the house an annual tradition!

Quaint, quiet, private secluded retreat

  • 5 of 5
What an amazing property! The photos do not due justice. There was a very old photo in the entry hall showing this property all alone atop this hill, what an adventure to twist your way up these steep windy hills and find this beautiful historical home perched a top! We stayed (2 couples) for 3 nights and realyy it went too quickly. There are a number of outdoor patios, it kind of feels like you can exit the home from every angle and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We saw birds, heard an owl, squirrels and a deer! Leave your car in the driveway because an UBER TAXI ride to the walk of fame is only $10!! We will be back and a special thanks to Debbie for trusting us with your beautiful house even after I told you we were going to a big CRAZY wedding party. We loved it and will most certainly return.

Hollywood Hills - an absolute delight

  • 5 of 5
We stayed for two weeks at Debbie's beautiful home way up in the sky visiting our three L.A. resident adult children. Easily 10 degrees cooler at Debbie's than down in the City, and what a view! 180 degrees overlooking Universal City and the Valley to the North, Griffith Park and the Hollywood sign to the East, with a beautiful terrace from which to enjoy the sunsets.

Driving up and down Woodrow Wilson Drive was a bit of a challenge for a New York City boy who doesn't drive at home, except to leave and return, but so worth it.

With our trusty GPS, we went everywhere, and found the house to be surprisingly central for our program. Breakfast and several dinners at home in a well equipped kitchen, plus a multitude of good restaurant choices within easy reach, 10 minutes if your lucky, twenty or so with traffic, but with easy access to freeways. Even the beach at Manhattan Beach, or the Getty Villa in Malibu were only 30-40 minutes away.

All in all, we could not have been happier.

Wonderful house, wonderful location

  • 5 of 5
This is a really lovely house in a perfect location. It offers peace and tranquility with terrific views across the valley, as well as all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. If you want to feel like you are a part of Hollywood for a while this is the place to do it. We stayed for two weeks and felt instantly at home. And of course its an easy drive from everywhere - including the Universal City metro car park which is ten minutes away if you'd rather leave the car behind. The house is full of character and beautifully landscaped too. Debbie was extremely helpful whenever we had a question, but really the place speaks for itself. Do go to Ca' del Sole restaurant (which Debbie recommends) - its terrific. Also go to Universal Studios at the bottom of the hill (and get a front of line pass), walk to the Hollywood sign and the old MASH set - there are great hikes in the Angeles National Forest too. In town don't miss the La Brea Tar Pits and the LA Museum of Contemporary Art next door. Rent bikes in Santa Monica to explore the coast trail and see a show at the Hollywood Bowl (bring a bottle of wine and a picnic). Then come back to that peaceful terrace, fire up the barbecue and fill a tall glass with something cold, while you watch the lights twinkling across the valley. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Awesome views!

  • 5 of 5
Beautiful home in the hills. Spent every night on the deck relaxing and taking in the lights. Navigating the roads up and down was a bit of a challenge for Ohioans but it was worth it. Went to Runyon Canyon, Hollywood to take in a Broadway show, Griffith Park, Beverly HIlls and much more, we stayed off the highways and getting around wasn't too bad. Thanks Debbie!

Spectacular view!!!!!

  • 5 of 5
Wow! Actually felt like a kid at Christmas when we walked through the gate! The view was breathtaking! We loved every minute of our stay at Casa Colinas. I was concerned that my boys ages 19, 21, and 26 would not enjoy the stay because of the homes age, etc., but, Casa Colinas was their favorite throughout the entire trip (making them complain about having to stay at Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort and Hilton Bayside San Diego) Bottom line...if we travel anywhere near Casa Colinas in the future and it's available, we will be staying there!! Loved it!!! Communication with Debbie was easy and timely. The property exceeds the description.
