Great location opposite the Weathervane to watch the drawbridge go up and the boats parade by all day and night long. Enjoy the new boardwalk to access the Channel, the Pier, Lake Michigan Beach and all the shops and restaurants in downtown Charlevoix. Spectacular views of incredible sunsets, Lake Michigan, Round Lake and Lake Charlevoix all from one truly amazing location. Clean and comfortable and totally relaxing.

Granite counters, tile floors, new finishes throughout. Comfortable accommodations. Walk out your front door to all the shops and restaurants of downtown Charlevoix. A great place to stay.

Spectacular views:: Incredible sunsets. Amazing views of Round Lake, Lake Michigan, Lake Charlevoix, Pine River and the bridge. All from one truly amazing location. Excellent location for viewing the boats in the channel with a continuous parade of every boat imaginable.

Located at the bridge in downtown Charlevoix the Beautiful. Google maps shows wrong location. We are located in the first building south of the bridge on the channel. Best location in Charlevoix.

Other Activities: boating. Boat slips are available for rent at the City docks less than a block away.

Golf: Amazing Northern Michigan Golf. Belvedere, Dunmaglas, Bay Harbor, Boyne, The Bear, to name a few. Many, many other courses to challenge your handicap.

Ski: Boyne is 20 minutes away, Highlands and Nubs Nob are 30 minutes, Shanty Creek is 40 minutes away. Skiers paradise.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (US Dollar) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • Since we have 5 units for rent the calender will not be accurate.
  • Published rates apply to Units 2 and 3. Both units are large, 3 bedroom units with 2 queens and 2 twins, 2 bathrooms. Units 4 and 5/6 are larger and more luxurious 3 bedroom units on the entire second floor and third floors. Each has a king, queen, 2 twins and 2.5 bathrooms for $500 a week MORE than the published rents for Units 2 and 3. Unit 6 can be rented separately and is a gorgeous 2200 sf, 2 bedroom with a king bed, 2 twins and a sleeper sofa for $500 a week LESS than the published rents for Unit 3. Call Cathy at 248 952 5233.
  • The business terms are 50% due at booking and the balance of the rental money is due one month prior to arrival. In addition to rent, an additional $175 cleaning/laundry fee is required. $300 security deposit is also required but is refundable upon inspection for excessive cleaning, damages and lost furnishings.

We have just returned from a fabulous stay in Northern Michigan. In an area not particularly known for fine hotels or resorts, we have, in the past stayed at the Edgewater and Weathervane. These properties, while well located offered mixed and mediocre accommodations at best. This year, we opted for this privately owned condo on the channel in Charlevoix.

Do not let the outside age of the building sway you! Our stay in Unit #3 was AMAZING! To say this condo is large is a vast understatement! Extending the entire length of the building and overlooking the Pine River Channel and the bridge, this unit has top-notch modern amenities and a light airy feel. While there are 3 "official" bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, you could easily sleep 10-15 people here with air mattresses. There were only 4 of us and we were more than comfortable with the huge space.

Cathy was a pleasure to deal with and she even upgraded us to this unit at the last minute because of her own schedule change. I have been coming to Northern Michigan my entire life and at long last I have finally found the ideal place to call home when visiting this most beautiful part of the country.

At the heart of Charlevoix

We had a week-long stay here in the middle of July: while the rest of the country was baking in record-breaking, torrid heat, we enjoyed a wonderfully pleasant time in Charlevoix. The Pine River Building couldn't be better situated, right at the foot of the drawbridge along Rte 31, with lovely views of the channel linking Lake Charlevoix to Lake Michigan. This time of year, the sun sets right along the channel for a picture-perfect evening out on the condo balcony. You're steps away from the center of town for shopping and sight-seeing, and just yards from the lighthouse and beach.

Beautiful condo in a convenient location!

Our family spent a week at the Pine River Condo: simply put, we could not have asked for more. Just minutes walk from Lake Michigan beaches, Lake Charlevoix harbor, and beautiful downtown Charlevoix. We absolutely loved our time there. The condo is fully modernized (dont let the exterior of the building fool you).

We were able to enjoy amazing sunsets on the Channel. It was wonderful!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Wonderful Location

When we opened the door to our rental unit, we were thrilled to see how spacious, clean, and modern the condo was. The view from the windows was spectacular. The location was perfect. When you walk out of the building, you are on the main street of downtown Charlevoix. We would definitely like to rent this unit again.

A great place to stay!

My family has stayed here in the summer and in the winter. We love the town of Charlevoix so this is the perfect place for us. We like that you can walk anywhere that you want to go - the beach, the parks, the shops. We found our unit to be comfortable, clean, and spacious. We were very happy with our stay!
