Why the Owner Chose Palm Coast: We were looking for a weekend getaway and fell in love with the house and resort. One day we want to retire here!
I am medical device sales rep with J&J and my husband, Russ Rollins, is the host of Monsters in the Morning on Real Radio 104.1 and Iheart Radio. We have 4 children ranging from 10 to 25, a weimaraner, and a yorkie poo. In our spare time we love to spend time at the beach!

We were looking for a weekend getaway and fell in love with the house and resort. One day we want to retire here!
There is so much to do here - relax, swim, play tennis, fish, surf, ride bikes, golf, or just sleep in. We love our home at Hammock Beach Resort
When we learned my first niece was being married in Palm Coast, my other two brothers, wives, children started hunting for a house we could rent as a family, since we would be traveling from 4 separate locations around the country. It was a 3 day mini family reunion of sorts. In the end, 7 adults shared the Yellow Palm House in Hammock Beach Resort. The house was a dream - clean, spacious and comfortable. We all hung out or crossed paths in the large kitchen area which is strategically located in the center of the house. It was an added bonus that Sam got us club memberships for 2 days which made our stay even more enjoyable. We could walk to the grocery store and I took Zumba and Yoga classes at the Club, while brothers, nieces and nephews enjoyed sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and 5 pools. But the beach was the best feature, and we all took advantage of it, swimming in 76 degree water and walking for miles. Samantha, the owner, was a joy to work with. She is incredibly responsive and positive and is worth 5 stars all on her own. Thank you, Sam! This property is highly recommended to all.
This is our second year renting this property. It exceeded all expectations. We used the club for swimming, dining and exercise. The staff at the resort are very courteous and always willing to help. There is easy access to the beach and all the amenities, and then you're able to return to your own home. We went biking, fishing, swimming and the restaurant 386 is phenomenal. We took a trip to Jacksonville for shopping, and did a haunted tour of St. Augustine. Centrally located, truly a home away from home. We'll planning on a return trip next year.
Would definitely go back. Clean, well-maintained house - it was like being at home with all of the amenities. Lacked nothing. Great location to resort and beach. Enjoyed relaxing on the balcony - view was perfect. Would definitely go back and have already recommended the home to friends! Thanks for such a spectacular weekend!!
Had a wonderful stay in the Yellow Palm House. We have 3 children and no one wanted to come home. Everyone had plenty of room and our "little one" loved sleeping in the top floor nook. The house is even better than the pictures. Sam was great to deal with. The resort is quite nice. It was great having morning coffee on the deck and grilling overlooking the lake. The beach bikes were fun. The TV and internet worked well. The property was very clean and we hope to return.
My husband and 2 kids (11 and 7) rented this house for 2 weeks - and boy - what a great choice! This house is PERFECT. It's spacious, well appointed, beautiful, clean, tasteful and the most important - comfortable. It has everything you need for a great vacation. The owners were gracious and helpful. My mother and Aunt joined our vacation after a week and the 3 big bedrooms with 3 private baths made it perfect for the 6 of us. The resort is just across the street with tons of pools, water slides, hot tubs, lazy rivers and delicious food and pina coladas delivered to your lounge chair. The beach was amazing. We spent 12 of the 14 days at the beach throwing Frisbee, riding the waves, taking both surfing lessons and naps! I will ABSOLUTELY plan our vacation here every year, although a month sounds better than 2 weeks!
After living in Palm Coast for years, we moved away and now vacation back to our little town by the ocean. A friend connected us with the yellow beach house in the Hammock and we are so thankful. If you are visiting this town you won’t look back. But we would highly recommend staying in this home for many reasons. The pools and the club are just a skip away. The resort has an indoor pool, out door, kids slide, lazy river and easy beach access. For the convenience of packing, the owners have graciously left all essential items you will need for the beach too. The view of the ocean is phenomenal and quite frankly any view around this home is worth your stay. The golf course and restaurants are amazing as well.
The house has all the luxuries you would want in a beach house. As you walk in the door the kitchen, dining room and family room are so inviting. The kitchen has an ice machine, and many needed appliances, including a wonderful washer and dryer just off the kitchen. The owners have made sure your stay is comfortable and every aspect of the rooms make you feel at home. The bedrooms are spacey and have plenty of room, with closets and bathrooms for each room. The master bedroom is like another island in the house and has a view out the back that overlooks the lake. The third floor is a little getaway that can be used as a lookout, kids can bunk up or use it as quiet little nook.
Since we were locals for a few years, we just had to add in a few of our local hot spots. Publix is right around the corner with awesome, easy food and take out sushi. Kokoro is right over the bridge and has even better sushi. Just down AIA is Flagler Fish Company which serves up the fresh catch of the day and the appetizers won’t let you down. The Golden Lion is a must and “that beach eatery” that you have to visit. JT’s is just down the road and has the atmosphere and yummy food to go with it. For breakfast you have to visit the Beach Beanery. Snack Jacks is a little farther down AIA but has the view of the ocean and is a local hang out. Farther inland, is Highjackers where you can watch planes going in and out while grabbing a burger.
The owners are amazing to work with, especially Sam, as she will answer any questions you have about this beautiful property. As you can see, we don’t hesitate in recommending your stay at this house in the gorgeous Hammock!
