January 2011: My Husband and I just spent the past 4 days in Kinsale ringing in the New Year, staying in Marian Cottage and it was just brilliant. The cottage itself (studio style) is ideal for a couple / one young child. The location of the studio is great, 5 mins walk from the Town of Kinsale and directly opposite the Spaniard Pub, great hostellery and super food. The car was parked on arrival and not driven again until departure, everything is within walking distance, shops, restaurants, pubs, sea, great walks. The cottage itself is quaint and full of character. Mark was very welcoming on our arrival and had the cottage looking very cozy. The addition of a Christmas Tree for our stay was a lovely touch. This studio is ideal for a hideaway getaway - it's Olde Worlde and decorated in a lovely Country Cottage style. The cottage is equipped with everything you might look for during your stay. We would most definitely recommend it. The area and town of Kinsale is very picturesque with plenty to see and do. We'll be back.
