Located in the rural orchard community, Orchard Lane Vacation Suite gives you an "away from the city" vacation. It brings you back to the "farms", nature, to the "real food pantry" of fruit trees and more.

This "end of the road", serene setting affords opportunities to observe numerous species of birds, pheasants, quail, humming birds and deer feeding. Sit under the big cherry tree and watch the sun set behind Terrance Mountain with shimmering Wood Lake in the foreground. Later the descending cooling mountain breezes subside as the evening slips into a dark sky. From the hot tub, enjoy satellite searching and star gazing. There's peace in the Valley! In a nearby giant fir, an owl announces the end of another day.

If you prefer more adventure, there's many opportunities near by: beaches, water activities,zip line, golf, wine tours, hiking, skiing and sightseeing to mention a few. Whether you prefer relaxation or activity, Orchard Lane Vacation Suite accommodates both!

About The Owner

Elgin, a retired school teacher and orchardist, enjoys writing poetry, sports, and travel.

Yvonne, professional mom and nana is now enjoying time to travel. We both have enjoyed hosting B&B guests for 17 years.

The Owner purchased this house in 1972
Why The Owner chose Lake Country

Away from the hustle and bustle of Kelowna (but easily accessible), this 4 acre farm in rural Oyama was our choice in 1972 to raise our family and provide a farm and orchard setting for them. In 1993, we built our new Victorian home on the same land and Yvonne started Orchard Lane B&B.

What makes this house unique

We offer you a peaceful and quiet home with beautiful surroundings and privacy. It is a great home-away-from-home for you and your family to enjoy the Okanagan as tourists. We also have local people who come just to treat themselves to a get-away. All the amenities and tourist attractions of the Okanagan are nearby

Our family enjoyed this vacation suite for 6 nights in July 2011. Very comfortable, private and accommodating for us (2 adults and 2 young children). What an absolutely wonderful scenic property and great location to enjoy the beauty of the Okanagan area for day trips on land and close access to the various lakes to launch your boat. The hosts take great pride in their property and ensure you feel completely welcome, comfortable and all needs met. The on-line listing is very modest in its description, as it is one of the first times we ever arrived somewhere and our expectations were completely exceeded. We will be back for sure!
