Great, spacious and modern house with all the amenities and close to Sonoma square

6 of us rented this house for our trip from Tampa to Sonoma for a long weekend. First, the owners, Carol and Dave, were great to work with before arrival. Everything was clearly explained with a reasonable deposit and contract. They took extra time and effort to give suggestions on what to do and where to go.
Upon arrival, the place was clean with all the amenities you could want. Great kitchen (granite and stainless steel appliances), dining room with a huge table, and tv room with a monster flatscreen. As an added bonus, the house has a great backyard, including a fire pit and furniture, where we spent much time drinking wine. The bedrooms all had queen beds and were very comfortable. Perfect for several couples (nobody got "shafted" with a smaller bed or bedroom) or families.
The location is blocks from Sonoma Square and very close to a good pub (Monk's) and steakhouse (Saddles). Rental came with 4 bikes so we just had to rent 2 more, which is easy since there is a rental shop around the corner. We will definitely consider staying here again the next time we head to Sonoma. This place beats staying in the overpriced, small and outdated hotels either in the Square or nearby (e.g. MacArthur Place).
