About Angela on behalf of Lloyd's of Fun, LLC
We live in Spartan Country! (MSU area) My husband And I have 'careers' that can be very stressful. We juggle the career with the demands of being involved parents of two awesome sons who are at the peak of being into all year round varsity sports. We are also proud to say that they are close to earning their Eagle Scout. we have a fur baby named Teddy who is often my favorite. : D. We are now in that sandwich generation too & overseeing the care of aging parents. This property gives us a place to escape to in order to enjoy life as a family unit while our boys are still home. Since 2010 we have been able to stop drop and Go n have an exhilarating and fun or a chillaxing weekend on the water, slopes or couch. We get in the car and can feel the air literally change as we travel North. We both come from families with that old school work ethic, but with that we learned that you should NOT put things off bc life can change in an instant. After suffering the extreme hardship from the passing of my best friend/my little sister at 34 as well as other heartbreaking losses shortly thereafter, we Learned that 'SOMEDAY IS NOW' and began our search. Over the course of a few year we rented on several lakes and concluded that nothing beats Lake Charlevoix and the area so we focused here. Then in 2010 this property came up for sale, had everything we needed in a vacation home, so we pulled the trigger. We also hope that its a prudent investment for our sons and something they can share with their families someday. Unfortunately, schedules, careers and other obligations have impeded our ability to come up North as much as we would like to. If u didn't know, there are no waterfront hotels on this lake. Therefore, We are sharing the opportunity with others to experience Charlevoix the magnificent and area. and yes it does help us mitigate some of the significant expenses associated with owning waterfront property. As long as we continue to have great renters we will rent!

Why Angela on behalf of Lloyd's of Fun, LLC chose Charlevoix
AFTER spending years exploring many lakes in Northern Michigan, we decided that nothing could compare to what Lake Charlevoix and the surrounding resort towns along the amazing 56 miles of Shoreline had to offer. We are a short scenic drive from other favorite cities like Petoskey and traverse City. We chose the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix in particular because in our opinion it is the better side for water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, and jet skiing and awesome fishing. We can pull the boat out and drop the ski's without any trouble. It's not too rough and lake isn't too congested. Mom can watch the kids easily from the windows and deck. It has a nice shallow area in front of the docks for the smaller guests. Our location on the West side of the lake gives us great sunrises and sun all day and late afternoon/early pm shade. It's easy to get to all the sides of the lake, especially in the winter when the ironton ferry is closed. It also puts us closer to Ellsworth which has my all time favorite restaurant The Rowe Inn (1 of Michigans 5 star restaurant. We chose this townhouse in particular because it included nearly everything we needed in a vacation property.
It gave us the space we wanted and flexibility so we can share it comfortably with our friends and family. It included an on site boat slip and parking and storage for the toys. It has amazing views with easy access to the boat, jet skis, and water. I prefer grass common area over sandy beach! Though the sandy beach is pretty, I don't like sand blowing all over my sun drenched skin or into my summer cocktail or into the house. This property has the 2nd family room that has extra sleeping which is GREAT if you have teenage or grown adult kids (lol) who want there space or for company. Offers much flexibility.
What makes this condo unique
Fully equipped with many amenities included and an on site boat slip and extra parking for trailers.

We rented this townhouse on Lake Charlevoix with our two young children and another family. We had a such a wonderful time! The townhouse is very clean, with updated fixtures and appliances. The furniture was comfortable. The townhouse is on three levels with more than enough space. We spent quite a bit of time sitting on the porch or in the yard while the children played along the shore and in the water. It is shallow for quite a ways which is great for little ones. The property is very well maintained. The weather was great. The townhouse came with a boat slip that was easy to access and use. Lake Charlevoix itself is just beautiful. We were spoiled by our many adventures on the water. The home-owners have gathered all sorts of local information and made a wonderful reference binder with lots of things to do. The townhouse is located close to Charlevoix, Boyne, Petoskey and even Traverse City isn't too far - all great locations for both summer and winter activities! We found the owners to be very nice and a pleasure to work with. We have finally found a place that we could rent as "regulars" and we are so excited about that!
We are so happy that your family and friends had a great vacation! Thank you for being awesome guests and for treating our home like your home. We welcome you back any time of year and look forward to helping you make awesome memories next summer and every summer thereafter!
