QUIET COUPLES RETREAT

If you’re searching for a place to stay with family or friends that’s within walking or biking distance of downtown Salida, you have found it!

This stunning one bedroom condo is located right on the trout-filled Arkansas River, and just a few blocks from historic downtown Salida and its vibrant restaurants, shops, art galleries, parks, and outdoor riverfront amphitheater.

The area is known as the Heart of the Rockies, and it will beckon you to its mountains, streams, and breathtaking scenery - or you can just relax and enjoy the scenery from the comfort of your deck.

This 1,300 sq. ft. condo has it all. Brand new furniture, firm king bed, a gourmet kitchen, and a private deck overlooking the Arkansas River, complete with a barbeque grill.

Leave your car in the one-car garage and walk or bike anywhere you want to go in town. Out your back door you can fly fish, eddy out in your kayak, or go rafting right from the riverbank. The Arkansas River boasts some of the best whitewater rafting in the world.

There are hundreds of trails located right around Salida, and lots more - including the Continental Divide Trail and the Colorado Trail - within a short drive.

About The Owner

We came to Salida for the outdoor lifestyle and the friendly community. We developed and built these luxury Salida River Front Condominiums in 2010, and will soon begin another project in Salida. Our piece of paradise is a mountain vacation destination in all seasons.

We did enjoy our stay You have a beautiful condo and so complete. There was lots of space in the kitchen to put our groceries. Don't see that very often. Loved the sink Made me want to update ours. Enjoyed meeting you The Trotters, Daughter, and 2 grandsons Dodge City, Kansas

had a great time. The condo was like a 4 star hotel everything you need. Within easy walking distance to downtown, short drive to the mountains or can relax at the condo. Don't forget to use the steam shower.

Best place you can rent in the mountains of Colorado!!

Beautiful place inside and out. Everything was perfect! Better than any hotel we've ever stayed at plus you get privacy!! Garage is perfect for parking your car overnight or even all day while you take a short walk into town, each day we stayed we saw deer on our way to town!! We even saw a family of deer across the river from the balcony. This place made our vacation even better than we could have dreamed of! When we weren't hanging around the great restaurants and breweries in town we had fun just hanging out at the rental. Usually when we vacation I want to spend as little of time at the hotel/rental but this time I was always looking forward to going back. We will definitely be going back and bringing as many of our family members to stay at their other rentals, we know they will love it as much as we did!!

Wonderful Salida Condo

Perfect location for our vacation. Easy walk to historic downtown, fantastic views of the Arkansas River, trout immediately below our balcony. Condo was a wonderful showcase for workmanship and energy efficiency. Wife enjoyed the wonderful steam shower every morning. Plenty of shade mornings and evenings. Even in the very hot days of summer we stayed cool. We didn't want to leave.
