Enjoy the Sun setting over the ocean from your front window or from the balcony. A ritual that never grows old!

Clearwater Beach is just 200 yards walk away and beautiful white sand extends 5 miles to the North.

Walk the fabulous new Beach Walk to arts and crafts sales or nightly entertainment (during spring season and summer) on Pier 60. Stop at the many casual or fine restaurants located near or off the Beachwalk.

Watch movies or your favorite shows on the new HDTV in the bedroom or keep up with daily events with the 22' HDTV in the living Room.

A separate vanity area from the bath and facilities room allows all to dress etc. at the same time. An iron and ironing board are in the unit for your use.

Daily maid service is available to change towels or do a quick clean up. Deep cleaning is done after all departures.

Staff seems to be always on hand for maintenance concerns or just for information.

This is a very family oriented place to stay, clean and friendly!

About The Owner

Jean and I (Dave) are Real Estate Agents in Worthington, Ohio (Northern Columbus Suburb) and we love having a place in the sun to escape the Ohio winter or to enjoy the summer beach. Check us out on the internet by Googling The Arthur Team, Worthington, Ohio.

We both are 1/2 marathon participants, hike extensively, and bike. We also spend considerable time on local Golf Courses. Our unit gives us a home away from home with all the vacation amenities.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2005
Why The Owner chose Clearwater Beach

For those so inclined the beach extends for 5 miles and ends in Caladasia State Park which has fabulous shelling and nature trails plus a snack/hamburger style restaurant. We see wild life from Dolphins to Tortoises --- great fun.

Golf is another or our vacation passions and there are multiple public courses with in 1/2 hour drive.

Restaurants (both fine dining and casual) number in the dozens and many are in walking distance.

Pier 60 (1/2 mile down the Beach Walk) offers fishing plus nightly entertainment, arts and small booth type exhibits and shopping.

Clearwater Beach has spent the last 5 years completing a multi-million dollar infra - structure update with the addition of new streets, curbs, trees, and a fabulous 1 mile Beach Walk.

It is so spectacular that Hyatt has just completed a 430 room luxury resort directly on the Beach Walk. Rooms there are a minimum $250 per night ---- not in the Pelican Pointe Budget!

The entire beach area has been renovated accordingly and it is a wonderful place to spend a vacation

What makes this condo unique

Pelican Pointe was built in 1973 as a Comfort Inn and then renovated to condo's in 2006. In 2010 we renovated our unit with new furniture, added a 40' and 22' HD TV, and new carpet in the bedroom. The complex offers 24 hour security throughout the Spring Season and the front desk is open 12 hours per day minimum Jan-July and 8 hours per day in the off- season .

Really loved our stay!

Before arriving, the owner took a lot of time to answer my many questions as we have never vacationed in clear water before. This was extremely helpful. Not too may surprises, pretty much what we expected. A little more motel like features than anything condo but very clean place with the accommodations we needed (the basic, sleeps four with a little kitchenette- microwave mini fridge coffee pot and some dishes). The hotel itself was a bit loud but most reviews had mentioned this and it was spring break- lots of younger college kids. The very best location of anywhere. The public beach right across the street (hotel has beach chairs and sand and beach toys for use) and within walking distance to everything!! It truly was the best location for the best price. The continental breakfast was a perk but definitely got old. I wish they would have offered some variety instead of the prepackaged honey buns every morning. My kids loved it though. Thanks for a nice stay, wish the weather would have been better.
Recommended for:  Families with Young Children

This hotel was far cheaper than most of the other beachfront accommodations. Keeping that in mind, I was very satisfied with my stay here. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff was courteous. The outside of the hotel could use a little renovation, but for the price I cannot complain. I would happily stay here again. My only complaint is that there was nobody available at the front desk after 9:00pm, and there was no answer when I called the main hotel phone number. You are basically on your own after 9pm. I'm not sure if it is always like that, but it was during my 3 day stay.
