You just can’t improve perfection!

From the location, to the unit itself and the hospitality of the owner, there was nothing that could have improved our stay in Unit 308 of the Shamron. You just can’t improve perfection! It was daring to commit to spending a month in a condo we’ve never seen, but in all the communications we’ve had with the owner Reale, there was never a doubt about his sincerity and description of the unit. The unit is on the end of the building which makes it extra wide allowing for a living and dining area almost as big as our own home. It’s clean, bright and airy with a balcony the same extra width as the living room which was perfect for spectacular views of the sunset. Many hours were spent with our binoculars on the balcony that included a nice size table for taking our meals and plenty of sitting area. There is a door that opens from the balcony into the master bedroom. The master bed was a very comfortable king with pillow top and warm blankets. Its bathroom is a nice size with a wonderful walk in shower with great water pressure. And the windows open up to the sounds and sights of the lagoon and gulf. The kitchen appliances were more than adequate for a month long stay. The only thing missing was a stock pot and once mentioned to the hospitable Reale he delivered one the day after! Truly a gracious and hospitable host who kept to himself but made it clear he was there if we needed anything. I can’t say enough about the location. Ft. Myers beach is truly a birders paradise and those who know this also know about the lagoon. Having direct access to it increased our pleasure at watching the many birds just outside our balcony. The condo is within walking distance of Lowers Key, another great birding sight as well as a nice strip mall with a selection of places to eat and drink. It’s also 3 miles from the local Publix supermarket and a short drive up to Times Square. In all, it is a perfect spot to spend a month and we definitely will be back.
