Set in what is known as Royal Co Meath due to its rich heritage and culture. The property is a short drive to the Hill of Tara which was the home of the High Kings of Ireland. Beamond House & Garden Rooms, Bellewstown, Co Meath is a Grade II listed Georgian residence built circa 1820. Full of character and charm and is set in rolling countryside with uninterrupted parkland views. The Garden Rooms are 4* Irish Tourist Board Approved Self Catering in the house have been tastefully restored in keeping with the houses history and heritage to accommodate 5/6 people. Bedrooms are a king, double, twin or single with one en suite bathroom, one large family bathroom and a vanity unit in the twin bedroom.
Rooms have white bed linen,towels, bathrobes, toiletries. Welcome pack of tea, coffee, jams, brown bread on arrival. Electricity,central heating and firewood are all included.
Outside is a private patio, BBQ, grass tennis court, large garden with walks,a stream, woodland and fields galore

The Garden Rooms offer privacy and comfort where you can sample the delights of your surroundings, exploring the local countryside, playing tennis on the grass court or just sit, relax and enjoy the views. Families can explore, play games or even fish in the river Nanny at the bottom of the garden. Equestrian activities including Fox and Stag Hunting by arrangement are available on site. Bellewstown Race Course, Golf Club, Pitch & Putt, Local Coffee Shop and Farmers Market are all within a two minute drive.
Beamond House is located on the East Coast of Co Meath just 25 minutes from Dublin Airport at the foot of Bellewstown Hill. The Hill which has its own historic racecourse is beautifully situated in a rural setting with magnificent views of the Mountains of Mourne to the north and the Irish sea to the east

We are a family run holiday venue in the beautiful Co Meath countryside. We have horses, cattle,sheep and lambs not forgetting our pet dogs and cats.
We also run a mixed farm with animals, grassland, wheat and barley fields and small riding school.
Our interests include sports such as tennis, golf, horse riding, rugby and most country pursuits

Our family have been here at Beamond House, Bellewstown, Co. Meath since 1975. The house is a Grade II listed Georgian residence built circa 1820. The house is in the Regency style full of character and charm with beautiful ceilings & plasterwork. Set in rolling countryside with uninterrupted parkland views as far as the eye can see.
We set about restoring the Garden Rooms in the house to a very high spec while retaining as many of the original features as possible. These include your own private entrance leading to a bright sunny interior, exposed stone and brick work, tongue and groove wainscoting, original old quarry floor tiles with reclaimed pitch pine floorboards throughout. A Jib door leads to a sheltered patio area, BBQ and garden. The Garden Rooms have been fitted with modern facilities including wood burning stove, central heating, dish washer, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer, electric hob, oven and microwave, flat screen television, DVD player, wireless broadband internet, books and much more.
Set on the site of an old mill and millrace, Beamond is a fine example of a Georgian Period House with beautiful fine plaster work ceilings and chandeliers. The Garden Room Guests have their own the private entrance which leads to light filled warm welcoming high spec accommodation. The large family size living space is a bow shaped room with exposed stone walls, sash windows and working shutters. The living room features a peach tree ceiling beam, reclaimed pitch pine floorboards, wood burning stove with an old crane feature (used for pot hanging & cooking in the past), comfy couches, and drop leaf hunting dining table. Books & games are provided along with tennis rackets, bicycles, and wellington boots if needed.
The old fashioned Jib Door opens to a sheltered limestone walled patio and BBQ area leading to the garden walkway and grass tennis court. Take a walk up the Bellewstown Hill to our local pub and see panoramic views looking North to the Mountains of Mourne, East to the Irish Sea, West across the fertile plains of Royal Co Meath and South to the Dublin mountains. Meander down to the river Nanny at the bottom of the garden or stroll through the fields and watch the horses, cattle and sheep grazing. Rest and relax in the garden or just sit and read by the wood burning stove. Our dogs may even join you for a bit of fun around the grounds

National Hunt Steeplechasing at many local tracks all year round including Bellewstown, Fairyhouse, Navan, Punchestown & all weather track at Dundalk. and Bellewstown which is our local racecourse has racing in July and August annually. Flat Racing on the beach at Laytown every September too.
If you wish to travel further afield why not take a day trip to the Titanic ship exhibition and see where the doomed ship was built.
Further up the coast to Antrim is the famous Giants Causeway.
Head south to Powerscourt in Wicklow or even another day trip to Kilkenny Mediaeval City. We are within striking distance of so many wonderful places that you will be spoiled for choice
