The Bolton Cabin at Cedar Flat is the perfect spot to get-away from everyday life.
With a location just over three miles from Tahoe City, the cabin provides all of the conveniences of being in town, yet the privacy and seclusion of the woods.
The Bolton cabin provides plenty of room for the entire family with 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, as well as a pull-out sofa and futon that will accommodate a total of 10 guests. The living room offers a large fireplace, flat screen TV, and unobstructed views of the lake. This is the perfect place to relax after a long day outdoors. Just off of the living room is the kitchen with all of the conveniences of home.
The property is idyllic with a large deck complete with hot tub and a private pier, a fantastic place to take a dip in the lake or launch kayaks or any other water toys that you may have brought up.
This property’s location is great for summer and winter vacations. There is plenty to do during Tahoe’s warmer months whether it is relaxing at the property, swimming or boating in the lake, rafting/tubing the Truckee River, hiking or biking one of Tahoe’s many trails, horseback riding, golfing, kayaking, parasailing, or just shopping in town.
During the winter months, you will have access to World-renowned ski resorts including Squaw Valley (home of the 1960 Olympics) and Alpine Meadows, both a short 15-20 minute drive from the house. Also located just minutes from the property is the Tahoe Cross-Country Center that offers scenic, diverse terrain of all abilities. You can also enjoy one of the many snowshoe trails, snowmobile tours, sledding, ice-skating, and even dog-sledding.
At night, you can head into town and enjoy one of the many great restaurants and bars Tahoe City or Carnelian Bay has to offer or drive a little further and spend some time at the casinos in Crystal Bay, less than 10 miles away.
