We love Big Sky! We have traveled all over the world, but there is no place like Montana. We come here to unwind and take the time to smell the roses, so to speak. Actually, it is more like stopping to smell the Mountain Lupine, see the Mountain Sheep, fly fish the Gallatin River, and in winter, ski the deep powder snow on the backside of Lone Peak with rarely any lift lines.

We come here to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. We love to ski and we love the outdoors. Mountain biking, fly fishing, hiking mountain trails and watching all the wildlife is awesome. But sometimes we get a good cup of coffee and sit and enjoy the view or read a book.
We love to go down to the lake in the morning and go for a walk, sipping our favorite coffee. Oftentimes, we see a moose standing in the stream with the water still dripping off his snout while feeding. Other times we may see a black bear up on one of the hillside foraging under rocks for food. On those beautiful, sunny cloudless days, we go hiking on mountain trails while enjoying the scents of mountain flowers and watching endless vistas. But the winter is our time to ski deep powder and make first tracks.... Did we say how much we love it here?
The review posted 1/10/15 had one glaring error - it said we had not stayed at this condo-Wrong! In fact this is our 3rd year of using it regularly during ski season, usually four times
a year. The condo was outfitted with loving care by the owners, and everything works, including Wi-Fi, TV's in every bed room and the main living area several with CD players,
a first-rate music system. We love to cook and the owner has embellished the kitchen with wonderful items not usually seen in rental condos. We love the heated garage with
direct access to the condo, lots of ski storage, and room for everything. The MBR is large,
with a huge walk-in closet, and comfy chairs for sitting on the 2nd floor. When one enters
the main condo, the vaulted ceiling gives a great sense of openness. The word-burning fireplace is one corner burns well, and lots of wood is provided. We find it coziness personified, and cuddle up for some good wine and good food at home. A sign in the dining room above the table says it all. If you want to go out, there's the bus system,
walking (just a short hike to the Village), or your own car. The service from the rental agency is also superb - phone answered immediately and what you needed dispatched within minutes. Definitely, second go-around, highly recommended.
We have not stayed at this condo for 3 years, usually 4X/ski season and we find it better every time we are there.
The owners obviously care a lot about your comfort, as evidenced by the furnishings, the music system, the TV's in every bedroom and living area, and the best equipped kitchen we've ever had in a rental ski condo. It comes with a heated garage, fabulous ski storage, and room for everything. It's just a short hike to the POMA lift to access the base area, but on returning you can literally ski to the front door. The main vaulted living space gives a sense of openness, and the wood-burning fireplace (with amply wood provided) turns it into coziness personified. The condo works in all dimensions; the area is also quite private. While you can easily walk or drive to a restaurant, why bother when dining in is so comfortable. Highly recommended.
Great location for skiing. Probably a quarter mile walk to base at night(I drove). Accomodations tasteful and modern. Quite roomy. Extremely reasonable for 3 bedroom almost ski in/ski out (short walk to POMA lift which allows you to access base. I would definitely stay again.
We absolutely love Big Sky! This condo is beautiful and even better than we expected. You can tell the owner has put much thought into the decor, and we felt right at home. We only stay at ski in ski out, and that's exactly what you get with this property. We would recommend this condo to anyone thinking of spending their next ski vacation at Big Sky, and we will definately be back sometime in the near future!
We have stayed at condo #296938 in Big Horn several times. It is a wonderful unit. It is very accessible to the slopes. There is just a short walk to the pommel lift and then you ski down to the base of the mountain with all the main lifts. When you return you can ski all the way back to the condo via a nice intermediate run – no poling on flat catwalks – and then a short walk to your condo. We came back for lunch which was a real money saver.
The condo itself is beautifully decorated in a western theme with great bedding and conveniences. The kitchen is well stocked with all needed appliances and kitchenware. It has three baths and a large living space with plenty of room. We travel with another family and have five of our own and we all slept and ate comfortably. The large glass doors in the living room let the sunlight in and the fireplace is great after a hard day skiing. I highly recommend this condo.
