Dwell Magazine inspired, custom Marin County contemporary home in the very desirable quiet West Blithedale Canyon area, sunny exposure, set among the Redwoods of Marin County. Furnished with new and original mid-century modern furniture. An easy walk to Old Mill Valley Town Center.

Living Room/Formal Dining Room:

Vintage mid-century modern dining table that seats eight, ceiling fans, and wood burning stove/fireplace. Electronics include hideaway flatscreen HD TV with Blue Ray DVD, iPod port, AM/FM tuner, and cable TV Contemporary art throughout, lots of windows for natural light with views of the redwoods. European white oak or limestone flooring in main living areas and in-floor heating throughout the house.

Please Note: On premise parking available for three cars, very important in Marin. Also important is easy access to the house from the street.

Back Patio: Access from the master bedroom and office area, mid-century modern outdoor dining table seats six, contemporary fire pit/charcoal grill. Office Area: Bookcase full of books, reading area nook/bench, marble topped desk for work area. Basement: Full size Bosch washer and dryer, ironing board, full size laundry room in finished basement. Fold-out couch for overflow sleeping.

Beautiful home in the trees of Mill Valley

This home is really well furnished and appointed hence the large deposit. But it is well worth it. It is in a wonderful location beside a creek. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you could need. We had a great stay.

a wonderful retreat close to downtown Mill Valley

This very modern 3 level house was just a wonderful place to stay. Built just 2 yrs ago, it had lots of wonderful touches. Drawers that seemed to close themselves, all modern appliances. a towel warmer, radiant heating and flawless wifi. The house was very well supplied with everything we needed. Our family of 4 was very comfortable. And walking downtown took just 5-10 minutes through the most amazing redwood grove. We would stay here again without reservation. One thing to be aware of is that this part of Mill Valley did not have the best cell service. We could use our cell phones only in an upper corner of the house. The owners do permit local calls on their landlines.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers
