I can't say enough about Henry & Secluded Sunsets
My wife, two daughters and I stayed in the 2 bedroom unit for 3 weeks in March. I did a lot of research before settling on the Brac and Secluded Sunsets. My wife often prefers to lay around the pool while I'm more of an adventurous vacationer. This was the perfect set up for us.
First off, once we chose to rent from Henry, he sent us all the information you could possibly need or want about the island, easiest ways to navigate the local airport, rental car info, what to bring & what to not bother with, etc. My wife and I are "planners" so this made it so easy for us.
Once we arrived we were met at the airport with the rental car waiting for us, escorted to the house and given a run-down on all the features of the property. All three units are updated, clean and well-kept. The view from the deck on the 1 bedroom upstairs unit is spectacular, and the 2 bedroom unit we rented is very spacious and lends itself to entertaining a larger group. The pool is decent sized, and the sun sails are a great touch to provide shade around the pool. The hammocks in the cabana are great as they put you just a few feet away from the ocean in complete shade, while the hammock under the palm trees near the 2 bedroom unit gives a lot of privacy.
While we were there we took advantage of the snorkeling equipment that was provided with the unit, as well as the three bladefish the come with the rentals. The snorkeling right off the house is amazing, full of coral, rock formations, and tons of sea life. I spent a lot of my vacation snorkeling within 500 yards of the house. Be warned that entry into the water at the property requires water shoes or dive boots (which Henry provides) due to the rock and coral and isn't smart to try with small children. There is a super easy entry spot into the ocean a quarter of a mile down the road with a ladder leading into the water and room to park your car, or a beautiful public beach with easy entry within a 10 minute drive that never had more than 5 people on it.
We also went diving, hiked the bluff several times, explored many of the caves (Chandelier cave was my favorite), went charter fishing, and relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There are several good restaurants that serve everything from local cuisine to more American options.
One of the nicest features of staying at Secluded Sunsets is the level of service you get from Henry. He makes himself available and is always willing to help with any questions you have.
