Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 6-9)

This beautiful log cabin was custom built in 2003 by the original owners. It sits on 2.6 acres and includes 400 ft of the South Fork River. It is 6 miles from Beaver Reservoir and 17 miles from Wolf Creek Ski Area. In the winter all roads are completely snow plowed for ease of access. The home is situated on the outside edge of the city limits. No neighbors too close but still minutes away from the grocery store, restaurants, the golf course and many attractions.

The living area is spacious and cozy with 22ft ceilings, wood burning stove with ample supplies of wood and starter materials. The sofa makes into a queen size bed for extra guests.

The kitchen is well stocked with anything you could possibly need including a dishwasher, crock pot, bread machine, waffle maker, blender, mixer, coffee maker, toaster and lots of serving pieces. There is seating for 8 (4 at dining table, 4 at bar) with an additional folding table and 4 chairs.

Golf: Our property is about 3 miles from The Rio Grande Club, voted 6th best golf course in 2003. Players enjoy the award winning combination of sandstone outcroppings, pine, aspen and cottonwood groves, a challenging shot over the mighty Rio Grande River, and your only half way home. The back nine consists of dramatic elevations, serene Alder Creek and a truly mountain style nine that will seal-the-deal for a return visit.

Ski: Our property is 17 miles from Wolf Creek Ski Area, know for the most snow in Colorado!

This home is beautiful, perfectly laid out for our family of 5, and nestled at the bottom of the valley from the Wolf Creek ski area. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery and is located in a small community so that us city folk don't feel too far away from civiization!
It is in short driving distance from restaurants, grocery store, and only a short commute to the ski resort. The owner handled our reservation and needs/concerns with extreme care, was urgent to respond to questions, and was extremely flexible when it appeared we wouldn't be able to arrive on the originally set date. This place is a must see and we will definitely look to re-book future trips!

We had a wonderful time in an inviting, warm home. The amenities are outstanding. The beds are plush. Monica, the owner, was great to work with. The home is more beautiful and roomy than the photos.

This cabin was perfect for me and some friends to meet up and reunite. It is so close to Wolf Creek that it makes the mornings easy. The kitchen has everything you could think of, including a deviled egg platter! It was so nice to spend our weekend at Wolf Creek during the day and cozy at the cabin. We experienced a cold spill with weather, but the cabins wood stove warmed us right up. Thanks for sharing this great cabin experience with me and my friends!

What i was most pleased with was the owners prompt response to my request. The location was awesome right on the river, my son caught his first fish on a fly rod. The photos taken of the house were accurate, and the property was very clean and very well maintained, has all the amnenties. I would reccomend this property to families with children and cant wait to stay there again.
