Words alone cannot describe the wonderful experience our family shared at Doug & Deb's cabin in Idaho. The peaceful relaxed atmosphere of the cabin provided a retreat for reconnecting with each other during our stay. The owners gave us valuable information and actively participated in helping us get the most of our stay with their advice on how to and what to see in the area.
The accommodations are quite comfortable and truly an experience in themselves. The pictures don't do the reality of being in this home true justice. It is well maintained and we found the place to be spotless and well stocked with kitchen/dining appliances and dinnerware. A very good set of basic items to get you going until you can get to the store (paper towels, bath tissue, etc...) were provided. Also the owners close (but not intrusive) proximity to the cabin is helpful if you encounter any kind of problem. There were 6 of us staying in the cabin (all adults) and we found the spaciousness more than adequate to allow us our own private spots to relax, read, watch tv, etc. without feeling we were crowded.
We very seldom repeat a trip to a vacation location, but are considering a return during the winter season to do some snow mobile excursions into the vast area surrounding the location.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy being with each other or their family or friends, or just wanting a vacation that you don't need a few days off to recover from vacation once you return home.

Love,love,loved everything about this vacation home!! Great location on the golf course,access to the clubhouse. Close to great restaurants and Big Springs! The owners are SO helpful and nice to work with! the house was immaculate!! Plenty of everything we needed,toiletries,soaps,kitchen items,everything we could think of!! Nice big patio/deck and barbque grill! HUGE upstairs master jacuzzi tub!!! Beautiful views from upstairs in the house.Nice layout!!Cozy wood burning fire place for those chilly nights!Cant' say enough about this property!!! Would definitley stay here again when we go back!!! :)))))And would highly recommend this to anyone I knew!:)))

Great stay! Beautiful cabin! Thanks Doug & Debbie for a comfortable stay and your wonderful recommendations. The description was "spot on." Big Spring, just down the road, was a gorgeous and enchanting place. We had breakfast at the Running Bear in West Yellowstone after leaving North Forty and found some of the best eggs and pancakes we've ever had, anywhere. Why doesn't everyone make their eggs like that? We also took Doug's suggestion and spent the next night in Thermopolis, the biggest hot spring in the world, and stayed at the Days Inn (they accept dogs) right in the hot spring park, where they happen to have the best prime rib anywhere.
