This log home offers you all the comforts and conveniences you will want in a most gorgeous Yellowstone River setting in a small neighborhood of homes in the Paradise Valley. Across the river, there are no neighboring homes, just the river, woods and some grassy fields.
The home has one king size bedroom, one queen size bedroom and a large open loft bedroom upstairs. The main floor bedroom has a king size log bed and a 32 inch flat screen television with satellite service. There is a bath with shower on the main floor just across the hall from the bedroom. Upstairs in the loft, you'll find two bunk beds, each with a full size bed on the bottom and a single bed above as well as a futon and extra twin mattress The queen size log bedroom has a full bath out in the hall with a tub and shower. Yellowstone Lookout Log Cabin can accommodate up to eight guests.
The open kitchen area has a range, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and a nice supply of cook ware and serving ware. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need. There is a bar style counter separating the kitchen from the rest of the dining area. The dining room table will seat eight or nine, or head on out to the deck and enjoy your meal while enjoying the river view. There is a gas barbecue on the deck for outdoor cooking.
The comfortable main floor living room has beautiful cozy and comfortable leather couches, log furniture along with a gas fired wood stove for your relaxing pleasure. The door to the riverside deck is found right off the living area. Out on the deck you will find a gas grill, picnic table, and other outdoor furniture for those evening barbecues. You'll also find a full laundry room on the main floor.
Just off the deck, you can relax in your own private riverside hot tub! On the lower level of the home you'll find a second living area/TV/game room, with 40inch flat screen TV/DVD home theater system, a wide variety of DVDs, IPod docking station AM/FM/CD player,and many games. There is also a small seating area up in the loft if you want to get away from it all.
Many guests use Yellowstone Lookout Log Cabin as a 'base' from which to explore the entire area--all of Yellowstone, Grand Teton Park, the incredible Beartooth Highway and the communities around Bozeman and Livingston, Montana.
Plan a trip into Yellowstone National Park, just a short drive South through Montana's Paradise Valley. With a little luck, you can hope to see deer, elk, bison, moose, and bears and other wildlife. Allow time to take a trip through the park to see Old faithful as well as the other amazing Geyser activity. Tour the hotspots of Yellowstone; which include: the Boiling River, the Grand Canyon, Old Faithful, the Petrified Tree, Norris Geyser Basin and Mammoth Hot Springs.
Chico Hot Springs, one of Montana's famous resorts, is just 10 minutes from the house; where you can enjoy anything from hamburgers at the grill to five star dinning -make sure to save time to enjoy a soak in the world famous healing hot springs of Chico. If you're up for some dancing plan to visit the Chico Saloon for live music on the weekends.
