Overview

Bethlehem House Rental Photos and Description

4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 2 half baths, sleeps 10 with massive fireplace

Formerly the clubhouse of the Mt. Aggasiz Country Club, our home sits up high on a private 4 1/2 acre lot facing south with beautiful sunsets and a wonderful local mountain view.

Just minutes from Rt. 93 and Rt. 142 , the whole house has been fully remodeled and tastefully furnished in the last twelve months and is ready for you to build lasting memories for up to 10 people. There are 4 bedrooms, two featuring queen beds, 2 full bathrooms and 2 half baths, a well appointed kitchen and a great room with a soaring cathedral ceiling boasting a huge fieldstone fireplace and large woodstove that keeps every inch of the house toasty on even the coldest nights.

The master bedroom features a large 4 poster bed with the best Sealy mattress and boxspring made and a beautiful master bath and 40' flat-screen TV. The walk-up dorm features a queen, a twin XL and a twin bed and it's own half bath. The den features a full futon with it's own half bath and the loft a full and twin bed.

Other Features: Being a former restaurant manager, I have fully stocked the kitchen with just about any tool you would need to prepare a quick meal or a full-course dinner. And yes, the knives are sharp, the pans plentiful, and we have enough cocktail and beer glasses to start a small pub.

The dining room easily seats 8 and there are several side tables and extra chairs to accommodate new friends made on the slopes.

In addition to the main house is a fully insulated and heated 800 sq. ft porch also recently rebuilt that has a great ski-themed bar and a queen pull-out sofa. It's a great place to unwind after a long hike or to throw back a few beers and boast about the gnarly bumps and steep trails you conquered at Cannon.

The front porch and yard: As the house was built in 1936 after the course was completed in 1933, the builders had enough time to pick the very best location to take advantage of not only the views but also the warming rays of the sun. We regularly eat breakfast and dinner out on the deck until December. Because of the Alpine climate and the fact that the house is at 2000 feet of elevation, the air is clean, the mosquitoes almost non-existant and the night sky views incredible as there are no streetlights.

Last, but not least is the yard. The front and back yards were once some of the tees, fairways and greens of the Mt. Aggassiz country club and have 4 fruit producing apple trees as well as raspberry and blueberry bushes. No need to travel to Sugar Hill for the Lupine festival since you have your own field of Lupines right out your front door!

We've even built a large fire pit with natural apple-tree benches and old milk jug seats where you can make s'mores, sing songs and talk the night away.

An Exquisite Vacation Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for several days; could have lingered much longer had time allowed. The house is cozy, and in a beautiful setting along a quiet country road. We especially loved the romantic bedroom, and the view to the west from the porch. This would be a wonderful place for an entire family, very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the house was immaculate. The newly renovated bathrooms are nicely designed, and the dining room elegant. My husband and I sat on far opposite sides of the table for our first dinner in a whimsical attempt at feeling aristocratic. Guido was an incredible host, very attentive to our questions and flexible with dates. We highly recommend this home, and thank Guido for sharing it.

Family Stay

  • 4 of 5

Our family was very happy with the house and owner. Upon our arrival, we were impressed with the view, the house and the layout. We have a family of seven including 4 boys under the age of 6 and they were very excited with all of the spacious room. The owner was very good to deal with and called during the week to check on things. The interior was spotless. I very much enjoyed the location of the house because it was just the right distance way from any busy areas. For a quiet vacation house, it was the best.

We have already started planning a vacation for next year and hope that we can secure a week at this house again.

Great House!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here with a group of friends for a weekend of skiing and the house exceeded all expectations. It was very spacious - even with eight people there were more beds than we needed. The house was in great condition and looked even nicer than the photos. A fire burning in the wood stove made the perfect centerpiece for the great room. We had a great time and hope to come back again!

Beautiful,cozy,spacious and relaxing home!!!!

  • 5 of 5

I really believe that the pictures don't do the house justice. It is so beautiful and comfortable. The Great Room was so beautiful and inviting. We spent most of our time in that room enjoying each other's company with a nice fire burning.

The sizes of the rooms were great. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the necessary items (minus the food of course) we needed to make dinner.

The house is very well kept and a great location to hit the nearby slopes!!

We absolutely loved it and look forward to a future getaway back here!!

You will not be disappointed.

  • 5 of 5

A totally lovely place to get away with friends. I went with 7 other women for a very short stay at the end of october - had such a blast - wanted to stay so much longer - would like to experience this location in spring, summer and early fall

Suggestion - the critter cam pick up black bears during the night and some of my friends during that time also LOL would love it if the critter cam videos were available to the the renters
