When we first decided to make Boardwalk Capers our vacation get away, we wondered "What could be wrong with this place?" Well, 14 years and 4 condos later we have yet to find it!! Boardwalk Caper is a quiet, peaceful, gated community with spectacular landscaping and water views on a beautiful Marina. As serene as it is, you are only minutes away from any activity you could possible want for some vacation excitement!! Each morning you'll see people walking the "half mile' boardwalk" enjoying the native Egrets, Pelicans and other exotic birds. There are four swimming pools for you to choose from or get some exercise from a game of tennis, basketball, or shuffleboard on our courts, Take a dip in our hot tub after a great workout in our fitness room and grill a burger on the barbeque by the pool! Enjoy fishing from the boardwalk of private boats as manatees swim by. Take a boat ride just 10 minutes across to Sanibel Island or take a ride just beyond it to Captiva Island!! Just a 15 minute walk to Fort Myers Beach or ride the Beach Trolley for only 25 cents!! There are so many vacation sites nearby including Thomas Edison and Henry Ford Estates and Museum, Matanza Preserves, kayaking at Lover's Key, Shell Museum or take a sail on the Big M Casino ship or the Pirate Ship!!. Enjoy sunset at the beach in the Times Square area with the evening performers doing mime or the comedy of puppeteers! Or simply stay home, enjoying sitting in your screened in lanai during sunset, and sip your wine as you watch dolphins frolick in the water!!
