Wow this cabin truly has it all! Definitely one of a kind lake front on beautiful Vallecito lake. With 2 bedrooms 1.5 bathrooms it can comfortably sleep 6! Shower no Tub.

Very comfortable downstairs master bedroom with private bathroom.

Great upstairs bedroom with fiber optic star gazing system, and balcony with gorgeous views of the lake and forest!

The cabin has a fantastic wrap around deck accessible from the cabin by two sliding glass doors, with the 6 person hot tub overlooking the lake, a fantastic way to start or end your day watching the sun rise and set!!

Nestled between BLM & Forest service land it’s a wonderful location..

This cabin boasts breathtaking views year round, with the lake shore only 14 feet out front! Easily accessible sandy beach for swimming or beaching your boat, great fishing, paddle boat and life jackets included for your use!

Darling island 50 yards from shores that the kids will delight in exploring.

Every comfort of home is here for you with 6 TV’s, tons of DVD’s, board games, outside propane fire pits, hammock, wi-fi DSL, washer and dryer and stereo system.

Vallecito lake hosts a variety of different activities such as horse back riding, ten’s of thousand’s of acres of hiking, backing packing and trails for atv’s/motorcycle riding and amazing fishing!!!!

The Owner purchased this cabin in 2005
Why The Owner chose Vallecito Lake

After camping around Lake Vallecito for many years, and staring at this historical cabin next to Graham Creek Campground. I knew that place could be my heaven here on earth. Back when it was just a bunk house for the ranch hands working the cattle ranch where Lake Vallecito exists today. In the years that followed rooms were added, including a kitchen. You can still look around and see some original walls and décor. The property is a half-acre however completely surround by BLM and National Forests . The most spectecular view of the Needle Mountains and the Lake.

What makes this cabin unique

A good friend of ours owns and operates the ONLY Marina on Lake Vallecito. His name is Stan and mention your staying at Connie's and Brad's cabin and he'll give you a 20% discount on a boat rental.

Search no more, this place is the best you'll find in Lake Vallecito! (And I did my homework with days of searching websites.)

The location is ideal for a quiet remote getaway, but still only a 1/2 hour drive to Durango. We loved having a private beach just steps away and the hot tub was a plus on those chilly mountain evenings. The views are breathtaking and the outdoor space has tons of seating so you can enjoy the lake from several areas in the yard.

The bed and furnishings were all very comfortable with lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the views. The owners were extra accomodating and attentive to our needs. They have furnished their cabin with all the amenities you need plus lots of cool extras - a heated, bidet toilet seat, TV's in every room, paddleboat, grill, gas firepits, etc.

Be sure to visit Ska Brewery in Durango - free tours at 4 PM (We are big fans)! Also take a drive out to Mesa Verde and up to Silverton (or ride the train.) Lots of fun things to do in this area for families. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The cabin was cozy and stocked with the necessities. The property was just incredible! Privacy, views and perfect weather. We even met the owner and ended up inviting him to stay for dinner. Great vacation, great place to unwind - we will be back.

The views from this cabin are exceptional and the trees on the property are amazing. The cabin is small, but the outside living areas, decks, etc are large and private so it makes everything seem more spacious. Loved the friendly Chipmunks :) and would stay here again in the future.
