House, 6 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 4 Baths, (Sleeps 25)

Relax and unwind as you watch the pleasure and ferry boats enter and depart the harbor from our grand front porch. This super clean Waterfront Century Home is one block from downtown Put-in-Bay, Jet Express, Restaurants, Shopping, and nightlife. The house sleeps up to 25 people but can be subdivided into 3 different suites for privacy or smaller groups, so it is the perfect location for your family or group retreat!

Fresh linens and towels provided. The house includes two fully equipped kitchens downstairs and kitchenette upstairs, A/C, DirecTV and Non-smoking. Located between the Crews Nest and Put-in-Bay Yacht Club, dockage is available across the street with plenty of parking in the rear of the house for your car and boat trailer. The large yard will accomodate volleyball, corn hole or other games. A gas grill and picnic tables are provided. Wineries, caves, Butterfly House, Museums and Perry's Monument are all within walking distance. Midweek membership to the Crews Nest with pool & dining available.

Why The Owner chose Put-in-Bay

We live on Put-in-Bay year round. The house has been in our family since the 1870's. It was used as a rental until the family moved into it in 1915. In 1958, it was used as a family vacation home on the yacht club side and rented out to visitors on the Crew's Nest side. It has currently been brought up to modern standards but with old world charm. The Dodge House offers an unparalleled view of the bay from the grand front porch.

"The wedding party had the best time and perfect location for the wedding at the Crew's Nest. The weather was perfect, the wedding was perfect and to top it off was this beautiful home to enjoy this weekend. We could not have picked a better location...the view is perfect. Our guests all loved their stay and we all plan to return soon. Thank-you so much for your kindness this weekend."

"Our family vacation...Four Generations worth...was wonderful! We rented the whole Dodge House for a week and it worked wonderfully for our family of 14 (aged 1 to 91)!! The house is situated perfectly and we enjoyed the veranda every evening. All ages had a great time in Put in Bay--so much for everyone to do! Your house is lovely~so much character. Thank-you for a wonderful experience!"
