House, 4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 8-12)

Our just renovated rental property is located in the absolutely most ideal location in Lake George Village. Its just around the corner to the busiest block of Canada Street. The arcade is so close the kids can walk there without crossing the street. Shepards Park Beach is just on the other side of Canada Street where you can picnic, use the playground, sit on the beach and swim. There are also concerts held in the park. Restaurants and nightlife are all within walking distance.

If you feel like exploring there are many activities in the area including hiking, The Great Escape, boat rentals, mini golf, etc. We will do our best to help you find activities that fit your needs.

The house was just renovated downstairs and up. The configuration is great. The downstairs has a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms each with a double bed, laundry and a bathroom. The living room has 2 couches (one of which is a pullout), A BIG 50 INCH FLAT SCREEN TV W BLU RAY PLAYER. There is also a sitting room with a futon and a small computer desk with wifi. The upstairs has a separate entrance but is connected through the living room. The door can also be closed and locked which would be perfect for separate living spaces for 2 families, etc. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms one with queen and one with a double, a small living room with futon, and small kitchen and bath. The kitchen does not have a stove upstairs but there is a refrigerator, sink and microwave.

Outside the front door there is a large covered porch. On the side of the house there are 2 decks, one covered one uncovered. All are large enough for a few chairs to lounge around on. There is parking for 3 cars but you could probably squeeze in 4 if necessary. There is also a grill outside for your use. Linens and towels are provided but there is no daily housekeeping service.

About The Owner

We live right here in Lake George Village year round. If you need something we'll do our best to get it for you.

The Owner purchased this house in 2003
Why The Owner chose Lake George

We began coming to Lake George many years ago to a sleep away camp on the north end of the lake called Adirondack Camp. We fell in love with the lake and the surrounding woods. We now live here year round after moving up permanently from the NY metropolitan area.

What makes this house unique

The main pedestrian street in Lake George is about 300 feet from the property. There simply could not be a better location if you want to be able to walk to everything in the Village.

Good Times in Lake George

We stayed in this house in June. It was great for 2 families of 4. We had lots of off street parking which was great. My only gripe is that the downstairs bedrooms were small, but they were big enough. We didnt spend too much time in the bedrooms anyways. The owners were really nice, and helped with anything we needed, extra pillows and what not. The house was great and the lake was a 2 minute walk. We will stay here again if we decide to go back to lake george. Overall a great experience.

Cute Place, Great Location!

Great place to stay, very quaint and cottage feel to the place. I went with a group of eight, and had a wonderful time. The place was large enough to accommodate all of us on the couches, and if we wanted to get away from each other, there was another area upstairs with a tv. The kitchen was equipped with items we needed for cooking, and if we needed anything, the owners were very quick to accommodate us. A huge plus was location as the house was two blocks away from the village area that was filled with small novelty shops and restaurants. We never had to travel more than 1/2 by car to go to rent a boat by the lake or to find a place to eat. Overall, we had a great time here and the accommodations were perfect. Will come back!

Great stay at this house

This place was great for me and my family and our friends. It was clean and it was in a perfect spot. We barbequed quite a bit. Lots of room for our bikes and cars. Duffy's is 2 blocks away and Shepards Cove is right around the corner if we felt like getting a drink. The layout was great. Its 2 bedrooms downstairs with a livingroom kitchen and bath and 2 bedrooms up with a small livingroom kitchen and bath. There is a door separating the upstairs and down and a separate door to upstairs. This was great when my in laws were driving me nuts...

Perfect location in the village!!!

My family and I traveled up to the beautiful lake george region last summer and stayed at this wonderful house. I cannot possibly say enough about how great a time we had there. The location was absolutely perfect. It is on the street parallel to Canada Street which is the main walking drag where all of the shops, restaurants, arcades and bars are located. Its literally right around the corner to there. My wife and kids had a great time in the sand and sun at Shepards Park Beach and we had a great lunch at Shepards Cove right next door. The house itself was perfect. It was very clean and well kept. We loved sitting on the porches after a long day of exploring. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and were very helpful in pointing us in the right direction with activities. We went white water rafting on the Sacandaga River and had a blast! We also rented a boat for a day from Shoreline which is about a 2 minute walk from the house. The arcade around the corner was perfect for the kids for a rainy day. Overall, it was a great value considering what we would have paid for a hotel room for a week. We will definitely be staying there again this coming summer.
