Eden House-POOL Home - close to town, beach - unusual, comfy & quirky

We stayed at Eden house for a weekend, we had an Event nearby the house work out great its was very nice and clean. I would definitely stay there again.

My Family and I had the pleasure of staying at the Eden House for 8 days. When we arrived, we were impressed with the picturesque front garden with the fountain. As we entered the home, we felt the warmth and charming character of each of the rooms. Exploring the house, we found the layout to be unique and each room beautifully decorated. From the cozy kitchen, to the spacious living room, to the Master Bedroom with on-suite bathroom, we thought the Carol took special care in making sure the house was clean, comfortable and equipped with the amenities. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, barbequing in the back patio, lounging in the living room watching movies and sitting outside on the upstairs balcony. Carol made sure we were provided with information about the home, activities in the area and additional contacts.

Our family gathered in Lake Worth to carry out our matriarch's wishes for her farewell. Although the occasion was somber, the charm of Eden House was a counter balance. Only five of the twelve of us stayed in the house, but it was a perfect gathering place for winding down after days at the beach and lunches out, more than one visit to Hoffman's Chocolates (watch through the glass to see the kitchen and the chocolates being made) on Lake Worth Road, and driving around to see sights that held memories from my parents' retirement in Lake Clarke Shores. ** The thoughtful touches and preparations that Carol had in place were very much appreciated. Among them was a crib set up for the six-month-old baby in our midst -- the first of the next generation. Everything we needed and more was provided. All was scrupulously clean, and a very helpful loose-leaf binder was left that covered everything we needed to know. The photos in the listing do not do the house, its setting, or the location justice. Carol was unfailingly helpful and patient about the couple of questions we had. ** As for restaurants, my sons and I fondly remembered Four Brothers at Florida Mango and 10th Avenue North. Even the Chicago contingent said it was the best pizza ever. We had a great time eating pizza at the house while watching the Olympics. ** I think I can speak for all of us when I say that it was a memorable time, and Eden House and it's owner were a major part of making it a special experience.
