Recreation is abundant, as we are located in the Schuss Mountain Village of the Shanty Creek Resorts, a major resort in the heart of Michigan's snow belt. We are steps away from skiing, golf, trails, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, restaurants, shopping etc. In addition, this cabin is also close to the Chain of Lakes, rivers, boating, swimming, beaches, fishing or canoeing. We are minutes from the major downhill ski areas of Schuss, Summit and Cedar River and five top-notch golf courses, The Chief, The Legend, Schuss, Summit and Cedar Village. This 1600 square foot cabin is cozy and comfortable with beautiful views all around. There are four bedrooms and four full bathrooms - great for families, a weekend getaway for the ladies or gentlemen or just for a couple! There is just something about this place, quiet, serene, awesome - come see for yourself.....

Then look no further for “Pure Michigan” winter and summer fun than here at Schuss Mountain within the Shanty Creek Resorts located in Bellaire, Michigan. Come enjoy the quiet comfort of our cabin, sitting in front of our quaint fireplace with a glass of Michigan wine or hot cocoa while the snow falls all around you. This cozy cabin offers four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a full kitchen that spaciously opens up into the dining & living room area. Use the large deck that goes around threes sides of the cabin for barbeques, fires at night or just to take in the views. Also available is a two-car detached garage for your boat, snow mobiles or quads with easy access to get in and out on our circular driveway.

This home is set in a great community in the Schuss Mountain /Shanty Creek Resort area and is available for rent weekends or a week. Michigan’s Northern Wonderland offers something for everyone in your family. Here at Schuss Mountain our winter wonderland begins with the ski runs that offer thrills and excitement for all levels and age groups. We have well groomed snow mobile trails that travel for miles. Our competition cross country ski trails offers an opportunity to view some of Antrim County’s beautiful landscapes. For summer fun we are in the middle of the popular “chain of lakes” for both recreational boating & sport fishing, Bellaire offers blue ribbon fly fishing in the Cedar River.

If golfing is more your style then your dream awaits you! You can’t go wrong with your choice of challenging courses right here in the resort area: Schuss, Cedar River, The Legend, Hawks Eye and The Chief, just to name a few. There are great restaurants here in the resort area such as Ivan’s at Schuss Mountain and Lu Lu’s in Bellaire. You also won’t want to miss some of our other local favorites like Moka Cafe for gourmet coffee and delicious baked goods and the Bellaire Smokehouse white fish sausage or pate and smoked Salmon. Great winter getaway

Lovely house only a few miles from skiing and tubing. Our family had a great time and no problems. The house was very clean. It was a bit small for our large family but the bunks made up for it. The best part was 4 bathrooms - no one had to wait! The kitchen was also a bit small but worked just fine and was very nice. We would rent again for sure!

Very clean and cozy house! So close to Schuss. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all! Well equipped with cooking utensils...down to a toaster! Six seated dining table. Plenty of room for coats along hallway entrance and shoes. Very nice house! Would highly recommend!

Summer Rental

What a beautiful place to stay. The home is beautiful and the area is breathtaking. We put the boat in at Lake Bellaire and went all the way to the Torch Lake sandbar. The water was as blue and clear as the Carribean. We had so much fun and it was 87 degrees and sunny - perfect boating day! We want to come back for a week next summer - 3 days is not enough in this paradise!

Summer rental

Had a wonderful time at the cozy cabin. Beautiful home! Came up to boat in Torch Lake, however, weather a little gloomy. Stopped in Bellaire, charming town. Had lunch at the Dockside. We ended up spending allot of time at the cabin. Exceptional accomodations, very clean and well kept. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Weekend vacation

this was the perfect place . the home was very clean ,every thing you could think of was supplied for us. Every room had it own bath room that was fantastic. We are all ready talking about when we would like to rent it again next year. I have and will recommend this location to my co-workers and family. The location was great for skiing, snowmobiling, and the shuttle to ski lodge was over the top.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities
