This remodeled and comfortable 2 story cottage that was originally built in 1910, is not only a perfect getaway, but also in an ideal central location. Hardwood floors, a private back porch, and a relaxing balcony off the master bedroom are just some of the many features.

There is a double futon in the living room..as well as 2 single folding sleeping mats in the closet if needed..There are 2 bathrooms..one upstairs and one downstairs. House is 1250 sq ft.

Easy walking distance to various restaurants, Frontier Market, Sweet Life Coffee & Pastry Shop, Fisherman's Market, Monroe Park and much more.
I am an RN and Photographer here in the beautiful state of Oregon…Love to travel & crave the ocean and tropical weather. Spend as much time as possible in Jamaica and with family on Maui.
Kalona purchased this house in 2008
Growing up on the Oregon coast, Eugene was always the 'big city' for us:) I have always loved the mellow University town feel the Eugene has. Initially we had thought of purchasing a house further away from town….but having chosen this location, I couldn't be happier! It has the quiet neighborhood and wonderful neighbors, but with the ease of access to anywhere!
Our location here is ideal! Having grown up in the country, it is a wonderful thing to be able to walk just down the street to Sweet Life for a cup of coffee, to the market or out for lunch. We frequently see concerts at MacDonald Theater and The Cuthbert, catch shows at the Hult Center and games at Autzen Stadium..It is wonderful to be within a few minutes of everything.
We found your cottage to be the ideal "home base" for our trip to Eugene to visit family and friends. The location was perfect for us, near restaurants, groceries stores and within walking distance of downtown. The house was very well supplied with all the necessities and very comfortable. We lived in Eugene for many years and knew that the area would be central to most everything we would want or need. Love the Blair Street area, so much to see and do there. We hope your cottage will be available when we visit Eugene again.
Fantastic place to stay in quiet area of Eugene. Good size living room and kitchen. Downstairs bedroom has two good size beds. Up stairs is a king size bedroom with on suite, and there is a downstairs bathroom as well. Well maintained and equipped, if we're ever in Eugene again we'd happily stay here again.
My friend and I stayed here for a couple nights while picking our daughters up after finishing their freshman years at UO. It is quaint cottage close to the UO and downtown. Great central location. Very comfortable beds, clean and cozy. Much better option than a hotel room. Not much water pressure in the showers, but the house has everything you need. We would definitely come back.
The cute cottage was perfect for two moms spending their last "Moms' Weekend" with their graduating UO daughters! Close to great restaurants and Downtown.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this charming cottage. We found the neighborhood to be delightful with a small grocery store, bakery and a handful of restaurants within walking distance. The home was quaint, comfortable and well appointed. The owner was especially accommodating to our odd arrival and departure times. It was the perfect cottage to enjoy time with our UO student.
We were thrilled with this little cottage! We were a family of 5 spending a couple of weeks over Christmas and New Year's. This home fit the bill better than we dared to hope!
There was an upstairs loft (i.e. parent haven) which encompassed a full master-suite with walk-in closet, bathroom and king-sized bed. The kids had a downstairs bedroom and bathroom with 2 twin beds. A fold-out mattress and a pack 'n play were included in the house for our littlest one. Along with nice supply of games, books and puzzles.
The kitchen was very well-stocked with essentials to get us started (much better than average). We also had a separate dining area, so there was enough room to bring the local family members over for meals. This house is on the smaller side, but the design is very good. After staying here, I would call it cozy and comfortable, we never felt cramped.
This was the home base for our winter vacation, which included whale-watching over on the coast and skiing in the mountains. We did not have to drive more than 2 hours in any direction to explore the unique natural environments of the State of Oregon.
