Marie Clore has been in the vacation rental business since 2002. My family has lived in beautiful Montana for 23 years. My children and grandchildren live here also.
Marie loves walks in the mountains enjoys the hospitality business, being a grandma, community volunteer, and is a retired member member of Bridger Mountain Harmony Chorus, Sweet Adeline's International. Our family had horses years ago (Missouri Fox trotters) and have ridden all over the countryside and in the mountains. We know and love this area and are happy to be your adventure guides, so, do not hesitate to ask us about the area, especially great areas and restaurants that are a 'must.' We want to be your concierge and this is just part of our hospitality. As an ourdoor family and 'resident tourists', it is a pleasure to share with you our True Montana, and refer you to Fishing, Hunting, and Outdoor recreation venues. Guests enjoy our properties as venues in themselves as the scenic, unigue setting of my properties are extremely special, if I do say so myself. Check out the property 'Reviews' to learn first hand from previous guests about our offering.
Marie Clore purchased this house in 2010
I love the hospitality business, striving to offer our guests, the best, most comfortable, fun, and pleasant 'homes' away from home that we can. It is my pet project to keep a quality product and experience for you, and, to improve on it continually.
Bear Creek Ranch Home has a great feel to it. Even when it was vacant, when our family first saw it, we knew that nice people had lived here. Lots of deer and other wildlife frequent the property. That has to tell you something about the place. The views and wildlife overlooking a real Montana working cattle ranch are so peaceful and beautiful year round. Our family feels really secure, comfortable and inspired in and outside of Bear Creek Ranch Home. This place is in the very heart of this wonderful place to live and visit.
Hello, We are the owners of Bear Creek Ranch Home, and, our Grand Opening is April 15, 2011.
We offer you exterior photos only, at this time, as the Ranch Home is undergoing the final touches of our resoration and outfitting for a lodging destination sure to please you while you explore our Rocky Mountains. Please visit the guestbook of our Bear Creek Log Home, vrbo listing #83858, to find out what renters of this nearby property have to say about the quality that we have to offer.
We just returned home from Bozeman and staying at the Bear Creek Ranch Home and must say we truly have an affection for Bozeman and this house after only one week! The house is just as described by the owners and in the previous reviews. The house is literally a couple of minutes to the I-90 on-ramp but you would never know it from sitting at the house. That easy access made it extremely fast to get to downtown shopping and restaurants (maybe 10 minutes) or the University where our son and his friend were attending Orientation. We've stayed in at least a dozen VRBO rentals and this house was the cleanest we'd ever stayed in. We appreciated not only the refrigerator and freezer being clean and empty but the drawers in the bathroom vanities and bedroom nightstands too so we could place our things. They have wonderful little touches like boxes of tissue in every single room, pump shampoo and body wash in the showers and oodles of plush towels. The closets are lighted and have plenty of hangars and luggage racks for your suitcase. The beds and pillows are really comfortable and clean. The backyard goes up a hill about 80 yards so we took the folding chairs we brought up to the fence line and just enjoyed the view of the cattle ranch, the pastures, the mountain ranges and sunset. Our dogs loved having all the space to run and play and lounge. The llamas were fenced in closer to the house than we were expecting but it was not a problem with our dogs at all. We are hoping to be back in Bozeman a lot over the next four years and will definitely make the Bear Creek Ranch Home our home away from home.
It was a great place for our sibling reunion. Enough beds for everyone. We attended a ribbon cutting of a new building on the MSU campus and had a few friends and relatives over one night for a get together. We had several guitar players as well as a piano player. Great views. Saw hundred's of elk. It was too cold to use the patio and The hot tub didn't seem to be up and running. Other than than it was very suitable and comfortable for us. In the summer it would probably be fabulous when you could use the outside.
What a great vacation home. Our family had more than enough room - the kids enjoyed the bunk beds and hot tub most. Located about 8-10 minutes outside Bozeman, about 5 minutes off the Interstate, it is convenient to both downtown and to Livingston. We liked the location, quiet and comfort. The sunsets over the valley are beautiful each night too, and we got to see the llamas on our last day. Thank you for sharing your home.
Bear Creek Ranch was all we expected and truly enjoyed while visiting our MSU student. Although we only occupied the very comfortable large master, there was plenty of room for our cook-out for 10 hungry college boys. The kitchen had everything needed and the outside grill, ping-pong table, and wildlife sightings provided a great setting achieving the Big Sky feeling of Montana yet only 8 minutes to town. Expansive sun-lit front range views from the den with the twinkling lights of Bozeman at night. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning.
We chose to stay here because of the posted rates online. We arrived late to a basement smelling of cat urine, 90 degrees and no a/c. The kids bunk beds look like they are going to fall apart with big gaps. Not good for kids! No working bathtub. No working ice maker or filtered water. The grass was brown and brittle.
To top off our stay, our 70 year old parents show up as a welcome surprise for my husbands birthday and the owner shows up at 10pm demanding payment for extra guests. It was ridiculous. We tried to grill out and the owners stopped by no less than 5 times on one day!! Very strange and made me want to ask for a refund. Definitely not what we expected or what we paid for!!!
Bear Creek Ranch Home VRBO pictures are completely accurate. The house was superbly clean, well-maintained and totally organized with fantastic decor throughout. Can't help but mention the ever so comfortable king size bed, the great layout of the fully equipped kitchen and such great views of the Montana sky and pastoral setting right out the expansive windows of the living room. The covered patio was also fantastic with the exceptional BBQ grill and table/chair area providing many relaxing cook-outs and sit-outs during the day plus night time counting the stars. The yard layout was perfect for ball throwing for our dog and the picnic table area provided beautiful views of gorgeous sunsets. The 2 car garage was also a plus for coming/going/loading/unloading. We had a great stay with fly fishing adventures on the Gallatin, Madison and Hyalite areas on our many day trips, plus reading, visiting friends and enjoying the cooler mountain air. We also enjoyed meeting Jim and Marie and appreciate that their Bear Creek Ranch home was a wonderful vacation experience for us.
Hiking and trail biking trails are just a few miles from the Ranch. You may hike or bike, from the Ranch Home, to these trails.
A Grizzly Adventure (entrance fee) compound is just about 7 miles away off Interstate 90. You don't need to drive yo West Yellowstone to see the Grizzly bears anymore.
