Our vacation apartment is located in the very popular Garden district in the heart of Cape Town. A lot of restaurants and stores can be reached within a few minutes walk. The apartment is comfortably furnished for two people and is located in a well-kept art deco house on Queen Victoria Street. There is an elevator present. In addition to a fully furnished kitchen, there is also a bathroom with a shower, bathtub and washing machine. There is a living/dining area, as well as a bedroom with an enclosed balcony. The apartment has an open balcony with a stunning view of the park (Company Gardens), the South African museum, the art gallery and Table Mountain. Numerous shopping facilities can be reached within a few minute walk.

IDEAL FOR CAPE TOWN VISIT

ideal location near gardens, shops and MyCiti buses with great view of nearby Table Mountain
clean and reasonably spacious. good service for cleaning and linen.
would recommend. have stayed 3 weeks on 2 occasions and hope t0 go again next year
Mount Nelson hotel within easy walk - a must for lunch. Arnolds in Upper Kloof very good for game food. Get a card for the My Citi buses now going to more and more places around CT. Good sea pool at Sea Point.

IDEAL FOR TWO

This apartment totally fulfilled all our expectations. It is so central that for the first couple of days we did not rent a car, but simply explored the city on foot.

The equipment and supplies were topnotch, with a plentiful supply of towels and linen. Lots of little touches which made it feel like home from home, such as sellotape and scissors for wrapping gifts (though we had actually brought our own!).
During our two week stay the apartment was serviced and we would come home to a sparkling clean place.
Water pressure was great and lots of hot water always.
There are plenty of restaurants around in Kloof and Long Streets. On a sunny day the tearoom in the Gardens opposite makes a very pleasant place for lunch. The hotel next door is OK for lunch, but avoid for dinner - overpriced and very poor quality food.
For everyday supplies the Spar in Kloof Street, walking distance away, is well stocked and does a good range of takeaways - and sells stamps too!

We rented a car from a firm in Bloem Street - a five minute walk away off Long Street - and parked overnight in the street outside without any problems, or else in the garage of the hotel on the corner if we wanted a late lie-in (the parking marshals start work at 8 am).

Having stayed in self-catering holiday accommodation around the world over the past 50 years, this must rate among the top ten per cent for location, cleanliness and equipment.

TOLLE WOHNUNG IN ZENTRUM VON CAPE-TOWN

Sehr gepflegte Ferienwohnung , super Ausstattung und liebevoll Eingerichtet. Toller Blick auf den Park „ Company Gardens “ und den Tafelberg. Ruhige , aber dennoch zentale Lage und auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite ist schon die Haltestelle vom „Hop-On-Bus“ . Zu Fuß 5 Minuten zur Long-Street, hier sind viele Bar`s und Restaurants. Auch zum Green-Market-Sq. ist es nicht weit. Per Telefon sehr viel wertvolle Info`s von den netten Vermietern erhalten. Bei unserem nächsten Cape-Town-Aufenthalt werden wir wieder hier buchen. Diese Ferienwohnung kann man nur empfehlen.

SUPER WOHNUNG MIT SUPER LAGE

Wir waren Anfang September für 6 Tage hier. Die Wohnung ist ideal
für 2 Personen,gemütlich sauber und zentral gelegen.Einige Museen
liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe, die City und die bekannte Waterfront kann man bequem zu Fuß erreichen.Man findet hier alles was man braucht.
Und das alles zu einem super Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis.

TOLLE LAGE, TOLLE WOHNUNG, NETTE VERMIETER

Die gepflegte und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete 2-ZWohnung verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man von Deutschland gewohnt ist (TV, KS, WM, Bad, Du). Sie liegt im 1. Stock in der Victoria Str. direkt gegenüber dem Museum am Garden mitten im Zentrum. Jedes der beiden Zimmer verfügt über einen Balkon.
Man hat einen herrlichen Blick direkt auf den Tafelberg.
Mit dem Mietauto sind es wenige Minuten zur Waterfront, zu Fuß ist das Parliament und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erreichen.
Einmal pro Woche wird die Wohnung von einer Maid gereinigt.
In unmittelbarer Nähe sind die evang.-luth. Kirche von CPT, viele Supermärkte der Kloofstr., eine Tankstelle und die berühmte Long Str. mit ihren vielfältigen Möglichkeiten.
Gegen eine geringe Gebühr kann entweder an der Tankstelle over night geparkt werden oder auch - je nach Tageszeit - vor dem ital. Konsulat unbegrenzt.
Die Sicherheit ist in dieser Gegend hervorragend. Wir hatten uns immer absolut sicher gefühlt - zu jeder Tages und Nachtzeit.
Hervorzuheben ist ebenfalls die komplette Ausstattung mit Karten und Routenplänen - man kann sich dies beim Abflug getrost einsparen.
Die deutsche Vermieterfamilie ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Abwicklung der Mietzahlung und die Aushändigung der Schlüssel erfolgt schnell und zuverlässig.
Die Wohnung mit ihren Vermietern verdient eigentlich mind. 2 Sterne mehr als hier vergeben werden können - kurz zusammengefasst: Traumwohnung - Traumlage - tolle Vermieter!

Our vacation apartment in Cape Town Gardens is located near the city center in a very good residential complex, about a 5 minute walk from St. Georges Mall (pedestrian zone) and Adderley Street where shopping facilities, restaurants, cafes, banks, etc. are located. All attractions and beaches can be reached quickly with a car or public transportation due to the central location of the apartment.
