This spacious (nearly 1000 sf) apartment features a newly remodeled, well-equipped, gourmet kitchen. There is a cozy fireplace for chilly evenings. Lots of interesting books and art pieces to enjoy. Plenty of closet space. There is a private deck with a BBQ which looks into a quiet, leafy yard. This apartment is beautifully furnished and very comfortable.
There is a fabulous roof deck which has a panoramic view of the whole City. Magic at night, and lovely for a cup of coffee in the morning. The picture of Coit Tower was taken from this deck as were the other pictures of the City views. There are just 3 apartments so that the deck is often yours alone! Table and chairs at one end, chaises at the other. Come and enjoy with the City at your feet!
While the apartment is roomy, it is best for two adults. The upper deck, as well as the private rear deck are not completely safe for children.
Two flights up is a large common deck with protected seating to enjoy coffee or a glass of wine and a panoramic view of the whole City, with Coit Tower leaning over your shoulder! Lovely in the day, magic at night!
The best part is the location!! A great base to walk or catch public transportation anywhere. The top of our block are the stairs to Coit Tower. We are 1 1/2 blocks above Washington Square which is surrounded with restaurants. Walk one direction to Chinatown, the other to Fisherman's Wharf. Public transportation and cable cars are all nearby.

About Elizabeth Candlish
I have lived in San Francisco for over 32 years. Now retired, my husband and I have a beach house north of the City. We still keep one of the flats in this building ourselves and have another furnished for visitors. We love this location!
Elizabeth Candlish purchased this apartment in 1999
Why Elizabeth Candlish chose Telegraph Hill
In my time in San Francisco, I have remodeled several properties, and this is the best location for visiting the City!!
What makes this apartment unique
A visitor can walk anywhere, and not worry about a parking place! We can park a small car on the property at no charge. Lot is narrow so a small car is necessary. Lots of public transportation within 2 blocks!
