This house is AMAZING for a large family!
This house had everything we could ask for in a beach house, literally! I asked the owner if there was a crock pot & she answered, “no there wasn't but she would buy one”! That is just one example of the wonderful accommodations that are provided at this house. Plenty of sleeping places, with bed linens, bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs, tent for on the beach and bicycles!! There were 3 full size refrigerators in the place! And 2 dishwashers! The elevator was an unexpected amenity – we didn’t think we would have a need for it, but what a huge help for moving luggage in & out and groceries up to the third floor!
We did have a problem with one of the AC units, but the owner had someone there promptly to fix it.
We loved Croatan Beach! We've stayed in Sandbridge in the past & loved the beach but there wasn't enough to do close by. CB had the perfect mix of SB quiet and VB activities!
We were concern about being on the "beach road" with small children in our group. Not a concern-it's such a quiet community & the traffic that did pass in front of the house was so sporadic & courteous. The Beach access was only 2 houses away & a very cool (shaded) walk between houses to the beautiful, spacious beach. I think the water temperature was in the 80's when we were there - just amazing.
I would highly recommend staying at Croatan Beach and in this house!
