We have lived in Colorado for 39 years, mostly in the Denver area, and moved to Water Dance 5 years ago. We live in Water Dance all winter, and travel in the summer, renting Water Dance to our vacation renters. We have 2 grown children, one in law enforcement and the other in health and wellness education. We also have 2 grandsons ages 9 and 11 with whom we hope to spend many fun days in the summer. We have retired from retail furniture business.
Janet's family in Nebraska vacationed in Estes Park every summer while she was growing up. We honeymooned in Estes Park, staying at Tiny Town Cottages, in 1968. We love Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the whole atmosphere here.
One morning I walked out the front door and was greeted by a bobcat. Elk are frequent visitors. We watched the birth of a baby Elk last June right outside the cabin. A black bear ambled by while we were sitting in the gazebo with friends. The river is home to Mallard Ducks and of course Trout. Fishermen and kayaks and tubers are present in the summer. The nights are very dark and quiet and the stars are brilliant, the air is fresh.
