If you love the mountains, then Echota is your ideal place to stay.

This community is centered between the very best vacation locations of Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, & Valle Cruis NC..

The unit is entry level so there are no steps to climb. It is located on top of the mountain so the views all around are awesome (including Grand Father Mountain).

The interior is like new with two bedrooms, two baths, kitchen with long snack bar, living room/dining area and a covered back porch with a private view of the mountains.

The Echota community includes use of a wonderful covered pool,hot tub bldg. and work-out center. The clubhouse offers large screen TV, pool table, card tables and fully furnished kitchen for entertaining family or a large social function with reservations!

This is a perfect location to be right in the middle of all the activities including the infamous Tweetsie Railroad and Appalachian Summer Festival!

It is centrally located to Boone, Blowing Rock & Banner Elk NC. The Echota community has an indoor swimming pool that opens in the summer as well as a two level Club House. There are ponds on the property for fishing. The unit itself is tastefully furnished and has a covered back porch for fabulous views of the mountains.

About The Owner

We have lived in Greensboro,NC for over 30 years now. We had often come to this area to vacation and decided it was a great time to buy where we like to play. We have 2 grown children who also enjoy coming to enjoy with their children. It has been a great experience and we enjoy sharing with others when we can't be there. Sue is a Real Estate agent in Greensboro for over 23 years and she knew this was the right location to make an investment!

Why The Owner chose Valle Crucis

After visiting the area on many mini-vacations for 15+ years and owning a time share week in Banner Elk we decided to own. Echota Woods is the BEST.

What makes this condo unique

The peace and friendliness of the community is a definite drawing card. It is like going back in time with beautiful mountain views, great hiking trials, unique shops and the great Tanger Outlet Mall for great shopping for almost everything. Snow tubing in Hawkseye is only minutes away as well as Sugar and Beech Mts. for winter skiing fun. There is Art in the Park in Blowing Rock during Spring and Summer months which features unique crafters from all over the country. There are theater events, outdoor musical events and so much more! The famous Chetola Resort offers a wonderful outdoor symphony on the grounds in June. This is always a fun and entertaining evening! Our unit offers split bedroom areas for extra privacy and each have adjoining bathrooms! Our deck area is very private and looks out to a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains! We hope you will come soon for a visit.

Cozy and cute!

The place is very clean and cozy. It feels just like home away from home. We especially enjoy the hot tub at the club house after za long day of skiing and snowboarding at Sugar Mountain. Thus, the view from the balcony in the morning is so refreshing. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Relaxing stay/Great Condo

We recently visited the Boone/Blowing Rock area for a short getaway before the arrival of our first child. We found the condo to be extremely clean and in a great central location just a few miles away from all the shops and restaurants. The condo had everything we needed and seemed less like a rental and more like a home. Very relaxing stay in a nice location.

Simply perfect!

We just came back from our Christmas vocation. We all so glad we chose this wonderful condo. The condo is sparkling clean, smells great, has all the necessity and more the family might need. It is also very well decorated with that unique mountain touch. My daughter called the bear ottoman/bench Fluffy. Very cozy and homey and perfectly located to anything in that area - Hawksnest, Beech mountain, Sugar mountain, Appalachian ski mountain. We explored them all. Thank you very much. We would like to come back.

I wish I was still there!

I really appreciate being able to take a last-minute getaway! I called to book this unit Thursday night and in less than 24 hours, I was on the couch relaxing! The first thing I noticed was the fall smell of apple spice. This is not just a rental, it is made to feel like a home. It is so clean and cozy! The bedding is super comfortable and I enjoyed sleeping with just a screen between me and mother nature. The master bedroom opens to a beautiful private deck (that's covered) overlooking a wooded area with great views! Thanks to all the kitchen supplies, I was able to make cookies, too, which was a nice treat! This weekend allowed me to relax which is exactly what I needed. The community is beautiful and conveniently located right between Banner Elk and Boone. I can't wait to come back to visit your lovely home away from home! Thanks again!

Cozy, comfortable and convenient

This is a great condo with all of the comforts of home! The layout works great for a family or for friends traveling together. Centrally located between Boone and Banner Elk. The condo was spotless, well furnished and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Hope to return soon for another visit. You feel at home as soon as you walk through thru front door!
