This is an ideal spot for those who love natural beauty away from crowds. The fully functional log cabin is situated on six wooded acres overlooking Canandaigua Lake. On site there are hiking trails, an archery range, a bonfire pit, flat grassy areas for games or tent camping, and excellent nature-watching. A 5-minute drive will get you to fishing, tennis, a playground, and the Finger Lakes Trail at Ontario State Park. A 10-minute drive will get you to swimming at Canandaigua Lake, sailing, Bristol Mountain, wineries, and restaurants. It's 50 minutes from downtown Rochester.
Relax on the porch and gaze out over the gorgeous view while the kids explore the woods; make s'mores around the campfire while the owls hoot around you; or watch a movie in a rustic but cozy cabin -- and still enjoy the view.
Dogs are welcome. Couples must be married. The bathroom is fully functional but not handicap accessible. Master bedroom has a double bed, other bedroom has a single bed. Air mattresses are available for larger families. Kitchen is equipped for a Thanksgiving dinner for 12. Nights are cool on the hillside, but fans are provided.

My wife and I think this is the most peaceful spot on earth, and we want it to be a blessing to you. At night there are a gazillion stars, and during the day we just gaze at the lake -- until our kids rouse us to go swimming or hiking! We've often hosted other families, and if you don't mind the kids sleeping on the floor or in a tent outside, you're welcome to also. Our one neighbor (100 yards away through the trees) attracts all kind of bird life, so bring binoculars.

We finally found a property that has this unique combination of wooded privacy, spectacular view of Canandaigua Lake, and yard space. The cabin is close to many different attractions but still seems like a secluded spot
Spectacular and somewhat mesmerizing view of Canandaigua Lake from this far from rustic log cabin.
Just a short hop to Naples only a wee bit longer to Canandaigua itself. Very interesting area, plenty to see and do. We only used the kitchen for breakfast but there's everything there that you would need to whip up a nice dinner too. Peace and quiet abound here...slept like a log...
Lit the wood stove on one cool night, delightful.
Our dog, Gracie, loved the place too!
