Brand new redo of a classic building on King George. Towering 11 foot ceilings, extra tall French doors drenching your living room with morning light...all new electric, kitchen, bathroom, A/C...
Inviting curving stairs lead you to a mezzanine floor with full standing room next to a latex US Queen sized bed, with a closet upstairs too! Full sized bathroom with large stand up shower. Complete kosher kitchen for only $20 extra. Stunning balcony seating over King George and the midrechov.
The perfect downtown location. Instead of traveling to a restaurant, you walk downstairs and have Jerusalem's best kosher restaurants right at your feet! Easy walk to the kotel on Shabbat. Machane Yehuda is just 6 minutes away.

We are an American Orthodox family living in Jerusalem over twenty years. Our goal in life is to be good. We love the opportunity of helping people visit the Holy City and enjoy life here to the fullest in a kosher and comfortable way.
The Owner purchased this studio in 2010
We thought that downtown was not utilized enough for vacation rentals. It's an amazing experience living downtown. Shopping for gourmet food in the open-air market, cooking dinner and enjoying it outside on your balcony, watching the life of happy people in the midrechov, davening in the historic traditional shuls of Rand and Broide...and visiting the Holy Western Wall...what a life to offer people!
Downtown is alive with youth, excitement, opportunities...meeting friends and being happy...
And this apartment offers life to the fullest: a huge 12 foot salon, a fun bed upstairs looking over the salon, great kitchen & bathroom, and the neatest built-in seating for four looking over the world below!
Upon reading other reviews I was confident that I was making the right choice. What I didn't realize is how central the apartment is to everything. You do not need to take public transportation as everything is minutes away by foot. Mahane Yehuda, Mamilla, Kotel, and etc. Go downstairs and you find yourself surrounded by restaurants and shopping. The apartment is very charming. It kind of has a New York Greenwich Village feel to it. Very comfortable and delivered very clean. My unit featured a loft with a queen bed. Even though I took advantage of all the fine restaurants Jerusalem has to offer the unit is equipped with a kitchenette with all utensils. Unlike other places I stayed there is a computer with internet available (and WiFi) and washer and dryer included in your stay. It was a pleasure to be greeted directly by the owner who welcomed me with a cake. Even the front door had my name on it which added a personalized touch. The owner is very helpful and accommodating. She is very interested in making sure that you have a pleasant experience both at the apartment and in Jerusalem. I have stayed in many places and however the room is simple the service, value, cleanliness and location easily earn this stay 5 stars. Bare in mind if you have Sheraton taste then stay at a Sheraton. If you are looking for the best value on a budget, then look no further. By the way.....the Sheraton isn't located in such an ideal location.
I was here a year and a half ago and have returned once again for a reason - convenience , great location , good value for the cost, and friendly owner who is fast to communicate and very friendly .
I really enjoyed staying here twice now , it's so convenient to everything , and I took advantage by being out on foot or taken the light rail everywhere . It's just 15 min walk to Mamilla Mall and the old city Jaffa gate entrance , and 10 min to the Mahane Yehuda market . Restaurants , Cafes , clothes shopping and Ben Yehuda pedestrian street is right here .
Highly recommended ! Thanks Eliana
I have little to add to the positive reviews already on this page. Eliana is a wonderful hostess, and happy to have interesting conversations; the apartment is as described: a well-looked-after studio, reasonably sized, clean, and well-maintained. My wife and I stayed for three nights, and felt very comfortable there. Even though the window looks on to King George V Street and almost overlooks Ben Yehuda street (it is opposite Hahistadrut, which leads onto Ben Yehuda), the double-glazing meant that it was very quiet when we wanted to go to sleep. We would have used the laundry facilities (included in the price) only we ran out of time to do so. (A few practical things to be aware of: there is a car park (for payment) nearby (opposite end of Hahistadrut) - King George is restricted to buses and taxis where the apartment is; I don't recall whether it is possible to park there overnight. And as others have mentioned, be aware that it is on the second floor and there is no lift.) We very much enjoyed our stay (and have stayed in many places in many cities), and would more than happily stay here again.
Don’t mind that negative 1-star review, it doesn’t tell the truth.
I strongly recommend this apartment, it will be a sweet and comfortable nest for your vacation in Jerusalem. I stayed here with my boyfriend for six days and we really loved it. Eliana is a special person, willing and very kind. She welcomed us with a plate of delicious Israeli cakes that made us feel at home. The studio is well organised, with an equipped kitchen area, a clean bathroom and a lovely bed on a mezzanine. Plus, a little balcony with benches and a table to look at the intense life of the city. In the common hall there are a washer, a dryer, a pc with internet access (but you will have wifi in your room for your wireless devices).
The position of the studio is amazing. You are in the heart of downtown Jerusalem. Just outside the door you have a nice shopping zone, with many venues, cafes and restaurants. It takes just 15 minutes walking to reach the Old City - but you can also choose to take the light railway on Jaffa St, that stops very close. What else? All the best of Jerusalem just few steps from the apartment.
And also the price is very good, you unlikely find anything better.
I’ll surely choose Eliana’s studio again when I will come back to Jerusalem.
We have stayed here twice already, and do intend to return in the future. This wonderful gem has been totally underrated by the person who belittled the skillful manipulation of the space at hand. The layout has actually given more people the opportunity to enjoy inner city life in this amazing location; and at such an affordable price for those of us that come from the Southern Hemisphere. Both apartments we have rented in the past have been clean, the beds very comfortable and spacious with lovely fresh all cotton linen. We never heard our neighbours. There are so many positives...if you want to really experience Israel, this is the place to be. Viva Eliana
We stayed for five days during November and December, and we were so happy here we changed our travel plans and came back for three more days. The apartment has all you need in magical and spiritual Jerusalem. The location is great. The old city is a short walk away. Ben yehuda street is around the corner. The market is five minutes walk. The bed is super comfortable and cozy loft style. The hot water heater allowed three of us to shower without running out of hot water. The balcony over looks King George street and was the perfect spot for Shabbat lunch. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this apartment and about Eliana as our host and now friend!
Old City and Kotel just twenty minutes' walk. You'll be smack downtown looking over all the fun. Hundreds of people meeting, laughing, taking each others' pictures, in the big community midrechov every day and every night. Incredible Machane Yehuda market 5 minutes' walk.
