This one bedroom villa is only steps away from the unspoiled beach of Playa Palo Seco. The villa is part of an upscale 23 acre vacation property that is beautifully landscaped and includes a well maintained pool and 24/7 security. 'Immaculate' is the best word to describe the property. If you enjoy comfort while communing with nature at a private beach that is unspoiled by development, watching monkeys travel the mangroves behind the condo on their way to the beach every day and unforgettable sunsets, this is the place for you. If you're looking for an affordable place to spend a few nights, weeks or months, this villa is perfect. The villa is located in an ideal location if you want to explore the Central Pacific!
Previously internet access was only at the pool. In May 2014 it will be available in the villa also!
I live in Fort Lauderdale Florida. I'm not able to make it to Costa Rica as much as I like but do really enjoy helping others discover the beauty of Costa Rica.
Steve Epperson purchased this condo in 2007
We wanted to thank you very much for the use of your villa. We had a wonderful vacation and stay at Villas Las Flores. Your villa is very well equipped and we lacked nothing. The large fan was a great asset as we were able to leave the a/c off except to cool off at night. Patrick and Miguel were very helpful. The monkeys came to visit most days. We would love to return in the future and will let you know once we have dates sorted out.
Everything was perfect, the villa is clean, confortable, fully equiped and just all we needed to enjoy a week away from the crowded towns.
The community is really nice, just a few other neighbors, great pool area, 24h security.
Just steps from the Pacific ocean, great beach and some minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park.
All the information provided by Steve was really usefull and the comunication was always fast and great.
If somebody is looking for a great place to spend quiet vacations at a great price in a confortable and secure place, just go there.
Thanks for all Steve and hope to visit your villa again someday.
Very comfortable and spacious Villa. Easy 2 min walk to the beach, you can see the beach when outside the house.
Nice modern decor, well stocked kitchen. Bedroom has TV with built in DVD and there were some games, books and info about the area. Beds were super comfortable also. The AC was able to keep the bedroom cooled off at night. Bedroom is between the kitchen and screened porch so doesn't have any outside windows.
Owner was super helpful and provided lots of accurate and useful information ahead of the arrival.
We had a use of bikes and boogie board for free for the whole stay and even had a beach chairs and shade umbrella in the Villa.
Place is very popular with retirees, everyone else staying there we saw was 65+. They all were very nice and nobody complained about our noisy 4 year old splashing away in the pool. Over all we and didn't see too many people in the complex. Few days we had the pool to ourselves, the most there was maybe 12 people in the common area.
Monkeys came by several times right behind our porch, some people feed them so they were looking for more.
Internet at the pool/common area was fast and reliable. They are some lawn games and shuffle board to use there too.
Super quiet and secluded, recommend a car if you want to explore the area. Road between Dominical to the south and Jaco to the north is newly paved and in great shape.
Playa Palo Seco was deserted most of the days, some mostly local people showed up over the weekend but it is very nice beach.
Over all we had awesome time and I would stay there again.
The property is beautiful, peaceful and quite, excellent if you are looking to relax and enjoy nature.
The listing is very accurate and Steve provided a great customer service, quick responses to my questions and sent a detailed document with tips to ensure I knew exactly what to find in the Villa, which was very helpful.
Playa Palo Seco is at walking distance from the villa, and about 3-4 beaches are just a 15-20 mins drive away.
The villa is very well equipped and maintained. I would recommend it to a friend or relative.
My boyfriend and I just got back from our week long stay in Parrita, Costa Rica at Steve's villa and I couldn't wait to write a review about my amazing experience! Villa Las Flores is in a secluded, gorgeous part of the Pacific coast. It's about a 2 minute walk from the beach, Playa Palo Seco, and about a 10 minute drive from the small town of Parrita. The villa had everything we needed and might even be more beautiful than the pictures show. It was the perfect size for a romantic getaway. The villa has a perfect set up with a small screened in front porch, a bathroom, small kitchen, bedroom (with king sized bed or 2 twins) and an amazing back sun room to watch the wildlife. The AC in the bedroom was awesome-- we only really used it at night to keep cool while sleeping, otherwise the fans throughout the villa did the trick. We bought groceries in town and made some meals at the villa, but also ate out at the local restaurants quite often.
The grounds at Villa Las Flores are beautiful and very secure, with a gate, guards, and landscapers. Patrick, the manager of the property, was very helpful. Since we went in the green season, we felt like we had the place to ourselves! The wifi didn't work while we were there, but I think it was due to a strong thunder storm that came through on our first night. We went to CR to get away from work, so we were ok without the wifi. :) When we did need to send an email, the delicious restaurant, Las Chicarrones, next to the bridge in Parrita had free wifi. We took advantage of the beach, surfed, visited Manuel Antonio, Jaco, went to the Rainmaker forest, relaxed, read and watching the birds and monkeys that came right by our villa 3 times!
I highly recommend Villa Las Flores. Steve was so helpful, answered my many questions and gave great directions and advice. I hope to go back again!
Everyone there was very nice. Nice, quiet place. The beach is great.
Did not find a couple of basic things but other pluses made it OK.
The kitchen is a bit hot.
Had a wonderful stay here. Everything was exactly as described and even better than we hoped for as we had a front row seat to watch the monkeys out back. The grounds are beautiful and
the whole place was spotless. The kitchen, tho small, was incredibly well set up with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals. The owner as well as the resident manager were both great to work with. I'd definitely recommend this place.
Playa Palo Seco (also known as La Isla Palo Seco) is a relatively undiscovered beach 5 minutes from the working class town of Parrita. The beach is very private with black volcanic sand and large surfing waves and is perfect for endless walks or bike rides on the beach. The villa is located in an ideal location if you want to explore the Central Pacific on your own: its about 30 minutes to Quepos/Manuel Antonio & about 40 minutes to Jaco. Dominical is a little over an hour away now that the road from Quepos is completed.
Other Activities: Zip Line, ATV/4 Wheeling, Kayaking
