Cathy's Little Guest Cottage is located on the grounds of a private residence in the secluded section of Western Shores. Available for occupancy May 1, 2013, this two year old, quaint quarters is ideal for the hiker, bicyclist, nature lover or simply someone in search of R&R. Spectacular sunsets, breathtaking views, soaring eagles and wildlife abound. Enjoy this intimate location on 285 feet of natural shoreline. Access to Lake Michigan and Whitefish Point is just a short walk from the cottage. Take a book and lounge chair out to the scenic deck or Whitefish point. Peace and serenity will engulf you as the waves hit the shore. A place to reflect and find your soul.

Restaurants, a great grocery store with an excellent meat market, plus many other stops to satisfy any island visitor. Bringing your car across? Reserve your spot on the ferry for your vehicle (Beaver Island Boat Company) AS SOON AS POSSIBLE as space is limited during the peak season. Don't forget to fill up before you leave, because gas is expensive on the island. Cell phone service is sporadic at best but WiFi is available.

The guest cottage is located approximately 10 miles from the island hub 'Paradise Bay'. You will need a vehicle unless you are an avid biker.

Vehicle rentals can be obtained from (highly recommended) Gordy Heikka 231-448-2438 or Beaver Island Marina 231-448-2300. Scooters can be obtained from Lakesports 231-2166.
