Has been in the family for generations.father left me the cottage to share with my family. I'm sure your family will love it too!
favorite things to do: jump in the river and have a swim before bed, have coffee on the porch.
We found this cottage perfect for a Thousand Islands holiday. Centrally located in T.I. Park, the kids could walk to the park, dock and river. The traditional T.I. Park cottage has great charm (and classic porch to enjoy the evenings) and character. The owners were wonderful to deal with and accommodating with everything.
Headland Cottage is a beautiful home just a short walk from the main pier where we spent hours sunbathing, fishing, reading and just relaxing. We went at the beginning of summer so it probably wasn't as crowded as later in the season, which was fine with us. The house is immaculate. Nice furnishings, and well stocked - there wasn't anything we needed that we didn't find in this house. There were blankets laid out on each bed which we used for the first couple of cool evenings and lots of fans for later in the week when it turned hot. The house was plenty large for our group of 8. We spent evenings rocking on the front porch or playing cards around the dining room table. I liked that there is a fridge in the kitchen and a 2nd fridge in the back room which we used to keep our drinks cold. There is a bed and bath on the first floor which came in handy for my mother-in-law who prefers not to do stairs. Bottom line, we enjoyed our stay very much in this comfortable home and would stay again. Plus, the owners were great to deal with. Thanks for a great vacation!
A wonderful place to unwind, relax, and enjoy the spectacularly beautiful, quiet surroundings.
We sat on the porch and enjoyed total relaxation, as our kids roamed around the park feeling free and safe. Swimming, tennis, golfing, fishing, movie theater, restaurants are all within a couple of minutes' walk. The cottage was in impeccable condition: an elegant, charming Victorian with all modern appliances in perfect working order. Well maintained just as it appeared in the pictures.
This was a true vacation, good for the body and for the soul! We are planning to go back soon, and would definitely recommend Headland cottage for a delightful vacation for all ages.
