Why stay in a condo when you can spread out in a home? Secluded back yard with private pool and water features providing the relaxing sound of a waterfall. Located in a small neighborhood with little traffic. This is a great location with easy access to the beaches, shopping and restaurants. You can ride your bike to the library, community center and senior activity center.

Beautiful 2 story home with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths with lush landscaping. The master bedroom is downstairs with a large walk in closet. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a full bath. The living room has a sleeper sofa. The living area is a open floor plan and features a eat in kitchen with a bar and bar stools. Grill out or boil shrimp on your own deck or enjoy the view of the pool from the screened porch. Plenty of parking for your guests. Laundry room has a new washer/dryer.

About The Owner

My husband and I have been married for over 30 years and are the proud parents of two intelligent and caring daughters. We both graduated from Livingston University and then returned to Mobile, where we have lived for the last 30 years. I returned to school to obtain a Master's in Elementary Education and to The University of Southern Miss for an Ed.S. in Educational Administration. I am currently a Reading Specialist with the Mobile County Public School System and an Adjunct Instructor for the University of Mobile. My husband retired from Syngenta Chemical Corporation two years ago and remained retired for two whole months before re-entering the workforce with Thyssenkrup Steel. He also owns a home improvement business.

Why The Owner chose Orange Beach

Growing up in Mobile, Alabama, my family lived only an hour away from the beautiful beaches of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, Even so, our trips to the seashore were few and far between, a fact that always left me yearning for more. I fell in love with the ocean, the sound of the surf and even the sand! I vowed one day to have a place of my own in paradise! We purchased the property when the girls were teenagers who wanted to drive back and forth to the beach all the time. Now adults, our girls look back at the many wonderful memories made during summers along the coast.

What makes this house unique

My husband will tell you that he prefers the country to the beach, but he can often be found floating in the pool on a raft or grilling steaks on the deck. Even Spunk, our ten year old Yorkie, appreciates the joys of coastal living. He greets me first thing in the morning with his leash in tow ready for his walk along the coastal canal. He knows, however, he is going to have to wait until I finish my cup of coffee on the front porch swing. We all enjoy the laid-back, carefree lifestyle of the coast. I wasn't surprised at all when my oldest daughter chose the beach as the setting for her wedding last year. Orange Beach is the perfect backdrop for the special times in your life. We enjoy the fabulous food , as well as swimming, biking, and boating. We also enjoy a rainy day on the back porch with a good book. Our family is happy to be able to share our little piece of paradise with you. We hope you find it to be as cozy, relaxing and fun-filled as we have over the years!

We really loved the peace and quiet. The back yard and pool was so nice and private. It was great to sit out there and relax and watch the hummingbirds and the butterflies. The landscaping was awesome. We are outdoor people and were very happy there. The beach was nice and close, but not real necessary with what we had there. Great places to eat close by. Gracies(probably spelled wrong) an Italian resterant, was our favorite. The bed was very comfortable. Linens nice and fresh. Definetly would like to stay again.

My family and I rented this home from 8/23 through 8/27/12. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home. The pool being the most enjoyable. We loved to have late night swims and the neighborhood was a very quite residential area making our space very nice and cozy for us. The home was stocked with everything that we needed. The best part inside the home was the beds!! Everyone in my party stated their bed was very comfortable. Being able to cook meals in was a plus. There was one thing that concerned me however, when a gentleman came by in a car upon our arrival and took camera phone pictures of our vehicle and tag. Sitting in the car as we just arrived made me wonder if he was affiliated with the owner or just a random person. All in all a very good trip although Isaac ran us on home earlier than planned. Would recommend this property........ everything in listing discription was accurate and more.
Owner's Response: Glad you stay was enjoyable.
We do have prospective renters call and ask for the street address so they can come by and take a look either for themselves or a family member.
My guess would be that someone did just that, and decided to snap a picture.

This house was perfect for our vacation!!!!! We were very comfortable there and LOVED the pool! We didn't even go to the beach while we were there! I would recommend this house to anyone, especially with pets. It was the most relaxed, wonderful vacation we've had in years! The owner (Brenda) was so helpful to us during the entire process of securing the house for rent and any questions we had. The photos definitely reflected the appearance of the house...actually, the house was even BETTER than the photos depicted it!!!! It was SO clean, well-maintained and beautiful! We hope to stay again next summer!!! :) Btw...my sister got engaged while we were there...out by the pool!

Awesome, awesome house. The pool was very relaxing. My kids enjoyed the outside screened in porch with TV. We had no issues with the accomdations. And it is only 3 miles to the beach. I highly recommend this house to any family. Particularly if you have children. Plenty of parking for any family visitors. My daughter quoted on FaceBook - "best vacation ever......". And she is 19 and nevers admits to a good vacation.
