Farmer's Inn is a Fantastic Newly Furnished Four Bedroom, Two Bathroom Vacation Rental on the eastern border of Glacier National Park. There are Granite Counter tops in the bathrooms and kitchen. There is Air-Conditioning and Wi-Fi internet. There are TV's in the bedrooms and a 42 inch TV in the Living-Room. Cable is provided along with Blue Ray and the latest movies. There is a Combo Washer and Dryer in the house. Luscious Shower Gels, Lotions, Shampoo, and Soaps provided. There are also bath sheet towels, hair dryer, ironing board and I-Pod docking stations. Two large bedrooms have queen beds and the other bedrooms have full beds. There is a large parking area in the back of the house for boats, motor homes and bikes. The entrance to Glacier National Park is only 12 miles away and the famous Going-to-the Sun Highway is only 30 miles away. Farmer’s Inn makes a great base-camp for excursions into the pristine Glacier National Park wilderness.

We offer the convenience of being near Browning with access to Glacier Peaks Indian Casino, Native American Bank, ATM’s, Town Pump, Subway, Taco John’s, IGA grocery store, Plains Indian Museum, Blackfeet Heritage Art Gallery, and Post Office, but still close enough to Glacier and all the other wonderful activities and attractions. We are only two blocks away from the Glenn Heavy Runner Memorial All-Season Swimming Pool with Olympic size swimming pool, hot tub, saunas, and weight room. We are within walking distance of the new Glacier Family Foods/Super One store.

We offer newly furnished, comfortable, affordable lodging, just minutes away from the best views, fishing, hiking and lots more. We are Charles and Debbie Farmer, the owners of Farmer’s Inn. Debbie retired from the National Park Service (Glacier) in 2009 and now manages the Farmer's Inn.

Charles is the Director of Emergency Management for Glacier County and an Emergency Medical Tech. We enjoy good company and meeting new friends. Come stay with us awhile, see you soon.

Debbie Farmer purchased this house in 2010

Our next door neighbors of many years retired as State Legislator and Superintendent of Schools and moved to be next to their children. We bought the house and to use as a vacation/executive rental.

Farmer's Inn is 12 miles east of what the Blackfeet call the 'Backbone of the World', the magnificent Rockies and this includes GLACIER NATIONAL PARK, the 'Crown of the Continent', which shares a border with WATERTON LAKES NATIONAL PARK in southern Alberta, Canada.

EXCELLENT!

This is a great place to stay while touring Glacier National Park. It is convenient to any of the east side entrances--the drive is scenic, and there is no traffic. The house is immaculate and well-appointed. Everything from the towels to appliances is of good quality. It's perfect for families and reasonably priced. We saved some money by eating in a couple of times and packing lunches; there are a couple of grocery stores nearby. It was also handy to have the washer and dryer.

Our group of four adults found the property to be at least as good as the description. What doesn't show in the listing is the warmth of Debbie and Charles who welcomed us and made us feel that we were honored guests during our stay. The place is spotlessly clean and beds and living room furniture were very comfortable. Debbie brought in fresh flowers and baked us homemade cookies! Charles works on property upkeep when he isn't working his full time job - and he still took the time to talk to us. Debbie is a wealth of information on dining, shopping, activities and attractions near Browning. She even provided a printed list of where to purchase bear spray! I highly recommend this listing and any of the four of us would not choose any other listing if we are within driving distance of Browning! Thank you Debbie and Charles

VERY NICE PLACE TO STAY!

The town of Browning looks a little sketchy when you drive in, but the people are very friendly and the house provided by the Farmers is very nice and comfortable. Good beds, excellent kitchen, lots of space, back your car right up to the door. There is an excellent grocery store just a long block away. The drive to St. Mary is winding and about 35 minutes (watch for cattle on the road!). To East Glacier less than 15 minutes. If you are much west of Logan Pass on Going to the Sun Road, it is quicker to go out West Glacier and around the park on US 2, especially if there are construction delays east of you. We returned from a long day of hiking to find fresh cookies and a totally cleaned house awaiting us - wow! Thanks, Debbie!

GREAT PLACE TO STAY WHEN FISHING THE BLACKFEET RESERVATION LAKES

Great place!! Four of us stayed here while on a recent fishing trip to the Blackfeet reservation and we were all very impressed with the accommodations. The house was tastefully and comfortably furnished, the kitchen was well equipped, and everything was in good working order, in short everything was exactly as described in the VRBO listing. Charles and Debbie were gracious and attentive hosts, and the personal touches they provided, including fresh flowers, printouts of local weather and fishing information, and especially the plates of freshly-baked goodies, made us feel very welcome. The house was cleaned each day and was always spotless when we returned in the evening. Also, there was a secure space to park two trucks with boat trailers off of the street and essentially out of sight (although backing up is required). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Farmer's Inn and highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to the Browning/East Glacier area.

Debbie and Charles were great host and since they live next door they were always willing to assist with any request or advise with travel suggestions. We did day hikes to Glacier National Park and their house location was much better than originally thought. By taking route 464/Duck Lake Rd you can easily make it to the St. Mary's and Many Glacier area's great hikes in about 35-minutes, and it's about the same distance/time to Two Medicine's great hikes. Since all the best hiking is on the East side of the park, we're now glad we did not stay inside the parks expensive and old hotels, or the very expensive hotels on the West side Kalispell/Whitefish/Columbia Falls area. The house is located in Browning and is a Indian reservation and lacks many dinner choices or entertainment, but has a nice grocery store 1-block away for all of our meal requirements. The comfort of this nice and very clean house was welcomed after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. Lastly the cookies, bread, flowers and daily cleaning Debbie provided was a welcome treat. We'd recommend this rental and would rent this house again on a future trip to the beautiful Glacier Park area!
