Farmer's Inn is a Fantastic Newly Furnished Four Bedroom, Two Bathroom Vacation Rental on the eastern border of Glacier National Park. There are Granite Counter tops in the bathrooms and kitchen. There is Air-Conditioning and Wi-Fi internet. There are TV's in the bedrooms and a 42 inch TV in the Living-Room. Cable is provided along with Blue Ray and the latest movies. There is a Combo Washer and Dryer in the house. Luscious Shower Gels, Lotions, Shampoo, and Soaps provided. There are also bath sheet towels, hair dryer, ironing board and I-Pod docking stations. Two large bedrooms have queen beds and the other bedrooms have full beds. There is a large parking area in the back of the house for boats, motor homes and bikes. The entrance to Glacier National Park is only 12 miles away and the famous Going-to-the Sun Highway is only 30 miles away. Farmer’s Inn makes a great base-camp for excursions into the pristine Glacier National Park wilderness.

We offer the convenience of being near Browning with access to Glacier Peaks Indian Casino, Native American Bank, ATM’s, Town Pump, Subway, Taco John’s, IGA grocery store, Plains Indian Museum, Blackfeet Heritage Art Gallery, and Post Office, but still close enough to Glacier and all the other wonderful activities and attractions. We are only two blocks away from the Glenn Heavy Runner Memorial All-Season Swimming Pool with Olympic size swimming pool, hot tub, saunas, and weight room. We are within walking distance of the new Glacier Family Foods/Super One store.

We offer newly furnished, comfortable, affordable lodging, just minutes away from the best views, fishing, hiking and lots more. Whether you are whitewater rafting, kayaking, fishing the renowned Blackfeet Reservation lakes or in Glacier Park, summiting the surrounding peaks, hiking the picturesque Glacier Park 1000 miles of trails, horseback riding, attending the North American Indian Day Pow Wow in Browning, golfing, sightseeing on the scenic Going to the sun Road or hiking tribal lands, you can be certain that an adventure awaits you in Big Sky Country. About Debbie Farmer

We are Charles and Debbie Farmer, the owners of Farmer’s Inn. Debbie retired from the National Park Service (Glacier) in 2009 and now manages the Farmer's Inn.

Charles is the Director of Emergency Management for Glacier County and an Emergency Medical Tech. We enjoy good company and meeting new friends. Come stay with us awhile, see you soon.

Our next door neighbors of many years retired as State Legislator and Superintendent of Schools and moved to be next to their children. We bought the house and to use as a vacation/executive rental.

Farmer's Inn is 12 miles east of what the Blackfeet call the 'Backbone of the World', the magnificent Rockies and this includes GLACIER NATIONAL PARK, the 'Crown of the Continent', which shares a border with WATERTON LAKES NATIONAL PARK in southern Alberta, Canada.

Room to Relax while Visiting Glacier NP

We arrived in Browning late in the afternoon and Debbie was there to greet us. Private parking area and easy entrance from the driveway. We found the home to be very clean, roomy and a great place to relax. We were a party of 4, two couples and we found the facilities great and provided adequate privacy. Each couple had a separate bathroom near their bedroom. The washer and dryer were a definite plus. Debbie came in each day to straighten and leave clean towels. As an added bonus, two nights we had goodies waiting on us when we returned from touring. That was a pleasant surprise. The fresh flowers on the dining table was a great personal touch. TV and Internet service worked fine. Kitchen was clean and well equipped. Full service grocery store one block away. The sunrises were spectacular. We had a very pleasant visit to the Browning area. All transactions with the Farmers were up front and efficient. All questions were answered fully and without delay before the property was rented. If we are in the area again, we would stay there. Thank you Debbie for a pleasant stay.

Excellent

We visited East Glacier with a group of six people, and stayed here. Wwe absolutely loved the place. Apart from the house, just being a great place to stay, Debie and Charlie were extremely gracious hosts, and they satisfied our crazy demands. We asked for a grill on the fly, and they let us use their grill. We also asked for extra pots, and Debie was nice enough to lend extra pots. When we cam back from our day trip, we found our place clean again. and some fresh baked cookies. They didn't even chard extra for cleaning, which generally is the norm. This was a great deal, and I'll recommend this to anyone.

Wonderful Hospitality, Great for Exploring!

Charles and Debbie Farmer are wonderful hosts. The place was spotless, and the daily cleaning ensured that nothing got out of hand. They clearly have one of the nicest homes in the area, and it was a joy to stay there.

The location is perfect for exploring the Eastern side of Glacier National Park, as well as for taking a day trip up to Canada's Waterton Lakes National Park (be sure to bring your passports!).

Dining options are limited here, although there are two nice grocery stores close. In addition to the local restaurants, it's easy to drive a short way to Serrano's Mexican Restaurant in East Glacier, or North to Two Sisters Cafe near Babb.

The hosts are very knowledgeable about the area, and will be happy to provide suggestions, whether it's for adventure, driving or dining.

Be prepared to be greeted with fresh flowers and excellent baked goods. The owners truly go out of their way to ensure that you feel welcome in their home.

Excellent!

This is a great place to stay while touring Glacier National Park. It is convenient to any of the east side entrances--the drive is scenic, and there is no traffic. The house is immaculate and well-appointed. Everything from the towels to appliances is of good quality. It's perfect for families and reasonably priced. We saved some money by eating in a couple of times and packing lunches; there are a couple of grocery stores nearby. It was also handy to have the washer and dryer.

Our group of four adults found the property to be at least as good as the description. What doesn't show in the listing is the warmth of Debbie and Charles who welcomed us and made us feel that we were honored guests during our stay. The place is spotlessly clean and beds and living room furniture were very comfortable. Debbie brought in fresh flowers and baked us homemade cookies! Charles works on property upkeep when he isn't working his full time job - and he still took the time to talk to us. Debbie is a wealth of information on dining, shopping, activities and attractions near Browning. She even provided a printed list of where to purchase bear spray! I highly recommend this listing and any of the four of us would not choose any other listing if we are within driving distance of Browning! Thank you Debbie and Charles
