Cascade Tower Rental Photos and Description
Tower, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 5)
The Tower is a relaxing retreat situated at 5300 feet elevation on a serene mountain ridge with inspiring views of Collier Peak and Snowbank Mountain as well as distant views of historic and scenic Long and Round Valleys. The views from our extensive wrap-around deck also give glimpses of Lake Cascade and the winding oxbows of the South Fork of the Payette River. As you look out of the large windows there are no other cabins within view. You are a 5 minute drive to many Lake Cascade beaches and hiking trails, and a 10 minute drive to Lake Cascade Golf Course and the town of Cascade. The town of Cascade has restaurants, shopping, an art deco movie theater, and the new and unique Kelly's Whitewater Park which offers whitewater practice and instruction with a historical museum in a garden-like setting. The resort town of McCall is a half hour away.
When you walk out the door there are numerous hiking opportunities around the house, upon the many granite rock formations, the adjacent State Forest land, and the dirt roads.
The house was built in 2008 and took advantage of a small footprint on our acre of land that included an energy efficient design. The bottom floor has a washer/dryer and storage space. The first floor has the kitchen, eating area, half bath, entertainment area that includes a wall-mounted LCD TV, and patio doors that lead outside to a wrap around deck. The deck includes patio furniture, a bar and chairs, umbrellas to keep away the afternoon sun, and a large deluxe Weber charcoal grill. There are outside outlets for music and entertainment. The second floor has a full bath and 2 bedrooms with queen beds. Looking out of the large windows upstairs will give you a “top of the world” feeling.

Guestbook comments from the owner
We LOVED your place! It was just perfect for us and the location was ideal, just far enough away from everything to be serene, and yet close to where we needed to be, town, lake, hiking, etc. The Tower had everything we needed and was so clean and fresh and new. Every detail was considered . . . . truly a home away from home! I spent much of my time relaxing on the sun-drenched patio…what a view, in fact, what a great view from every window! I wish we could have spent more time there and I certainly hope to return again soon.
