We liked the location of Zunz and we thought it was a good value. It's close to restaurants, grocery stores, laundry facilities. While the neighborhood is lively, the street itself is quiet and calm. This will sound dumb, but for no good reason, I expected Augusto and Sara were going to meet us outside the building before check-in. It might be helpful to tell visitors in the paperwork to buzz the apartment. I mentioned this to Augusto--the list of recyclables on the bin in the stairwell is completely faded, so we weren't sure what to recycle (beyond the obvious glass, paper, and cans).
We recommend guests visit these local businesses:
Restaurants: Don Julio, Mole Cafe, Unik, Osaka, Salvador, El Preferido
Wine Store: Malumbo (Guatemala and Thames)
Laundry: Burbujas (on Paraguay)
