Logan Chalet Rental Photos and Description
Chalet, 3 Bedrooms + Bunk Area, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 8-10)
Listen to the creek, watch the wildlife and be only a mile from town. This new home has Australian Cypress hardwood floors, indoor grill, heated by a Tulikivi (A soapstone fireplace from Finland), and cooled by canyon breezes. We lived here for several years and never felt the need for air conditioning. The home was designed to let the cool breezes cool it. However, May 2013 we are installing AC so that no one would feel any discomfort. No detail was left out on this unique layout with beautiful natural wood to create a lodge setting in a compact space. On the main floor there is one master bedroom with a king sized bed. There are two loft bedrooms accessed by a shipman’s ladder each with a queen sized bed and an additional single trundle bed. There is another raised sleeping area behind Japanese Shoji doors that houses a two twin mattresses as well as a carpeted play area. Sleeping for 9 or 10 can be easily accommodated in this unique layout. Jacuzzi tub and a home office make this a place to come home and relax after a good day skiing, hiking or biking. The kitchen is fully equipped and the home includes a washer and dryer. Bring a DVD and use our 110 inch Projection screen with surround sound. The canyon road goes for 4-5 more miles and then ends in wilderness area. With the Logan to Jackson bike race and the Top of Utah Marathon both in the valley, this home is passed everyday by athletes who are training in a beautiful setting.
Outside the house is a deluxe private playground with sand box, playhouse, swings slides and an adjustable basketball hoop for any kids who want to join you. There are 10 acres of land to take a walk across the bridges along the creek. We have seen deer (almost every day), raccoons, moose, fox, rabbits, pheasants, owls, and other wildlife that live in harmony with this home. Yet we are one mile from the post office and McDonalds. We have the benefit of quiet seclusion and still close to town. It is like our own private oasis.
We have just opened this house up as a vacation rental and wish to share a dream that we created in a beautiful setting.
For weekends, we require a two night stay unless the weekend is seven or less days away.
- non smoking only
- pets considered
- children welcome
About The Owner
We have our home across the creek and are available for your needs.
The Owner purchased this chalet in 2001
Why The Owner chose Logan
It has great privacy and seclusion but within a few minutes of anything the valley has to offer. It is a very unique and open layout that is one of a kind.
What makes this chalet unique
Peace and quiet and being part of nature. But the warmth of the wood inside and the all natural materials such as slate and soapstone, make this very inviting. We even have a hammock swing inside to play on.
