Ideally located two blocks from the beach and a short walk to the restaurants, boutiques, and galleries of the 5th Avenue and Third Street South upscale shopping areas, Beach Walk is a duplex, Key West-style cottage that is nestled off the street in a small compound of quaint old-Florida cottages. Recently completely renovated with very high-end finishes, it is a home that has been lovingly decorated and thoughtfully appointed with every amenity you would want for a fabulous stay in charming Olde Naples. The second floor living area is surrounded by glorious tall palm trees and, looking through the plantation shutters, you feel like you are living in a treehouse. Outside on the private patio, foliage and flowers, both in the garden and in pots, are abundant and the entire area has terracotta pavers.
A short two-block stroll brings you to miles of powder white sand beach and spectacular sunsets. Enjoy long walks, shelling, fishing off the famous Naples Pier (no license required) and swimming in the calm and clear Gulf waters. Beach chairs, umbrellas, cart and beach towels are all available for your use. Park your car and walk or ride bikes (2 are provided) everywhere you need to go. Superb cultural venues, parks, tennis, golf, and upscale dining and shopping, as well as daily amenities, are all just minutes away.
We own both halves of the duplex and will often be in residence in the other side. We use this half for friends and family and rent it when it is available. It is best suited for a single person or couple with occasional guests.
Olde Naples is a very special part of Florida. No buildings are taller than 3 stories and the beach, with the exception of the pier which has a hot dog stand, is completely non-commercial. Towering palms and live oak trees line the streets and tropical flowering gardens are abundant everywhere. We look forward to welcoming you to Beach Walk and introducing you to all that Olde Naples has to offer.

Sorry, we are a bit camera shy, but here is a photo of our granddaughter enjoying our uncrowded beach. We bought the first half of the duplex in 2008. In the fall of 2010, the other half, which is the unit listed here, unexpectedly became available for sale. We jumped at the opportunity to own both sides which provides us with additional space when needed for our friends and family to visit us.
Good friends bought a condo on the corner of 7th Ave South and West Lake and graciously offered it to us for a month each winter for several years. We had not previously had much interest in Florida with its miles of high rise buildings jammed along the beach, but were pleasantly surprised to find a charming town where no building is taller than 3 stories and single family homes line the beach. And we learned from experience what a difference location made in enjoying Olde Naples. When it came time to buy, we gave the real estate agent 6 square blocks as the only area we would consider!
Most condos in Olde Naples are in concrete square buildings with little green space and no privacy. Our duplex cottage has a private outdoor patio, is very quiet, and is set back from the street. It is a rare find!
