We just got back from our week in Blowing Rock and despite the unusual spring snow, had a great time! Many thanks to Lynn for her quick responses and hospitality for the Royal Oak condo. It was my husband, daughter, sister and her husband and there was plenty of room for all of us. The condo had all the comforts of home. We only brought the food we thought we'd need in case we got snowed in - everything else was there. We especially appreciated the binder with local activities, restaurants, tv/entertainment info. It was a lifesaver. With 20 degree temperatures, the fireplace was on every day. Very easy to use. The condo is in the perfect location. We walked to the local restaurants and shops and even fed the ducks a couple times at Broyhill lake. The streets were constantly plowed and salted so it was easy to get around town or go to Boone. We even got to sled at a nearby hill! We all agreed we'd happily stay here again. Thanks!
