Stevens Pass Cabin Rental Photos and Description
Cabin, 1 Bedroom, Loft, futon, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)
Mountain View is 24 miles west of Stevens Pass, 60 miles from Seattle on scenic south fork Skykomish River.
It is a classic Washington state chalet-style cabin, perfect for a getaway near Seattle, romantic weekend, outdoor recreationists, Stevens Pass ski vacation, friends' retreat (two beds & a futon), and summer vacations.
The cabin's front wall of windows frame majestic Mt. Baring looming above sparkling clear waters of scenic Skykomish River. The wood stove converts to a free-standing fireplace making the cabin cozy and romantic on rainy or snowy days. On clear nights you can turn off the lights and star gaze from the comfortable sofa while staying cozy warm inside by the fire. Or, listen to the river 'whisper' by while you relax in your own steaming hot tub. There is also a camp fire ring close to the river with a mountain view.
The area is surrounded by three wildnerness areas (Alpine Lakes, Wild Sky, and Henry Jackson) and Mt Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest that provide year-round natural beauty and seasonal activities such as whitewater rafting, kayaking, hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, and rock climbing.
This is a very comfortable cabin with quality amenities. The living area is roomy with a spacious sectional sofa that is arranged to take advantage of the river and mountain view, while watching movies or the fire in the wood stove/freestanding fireplace. The television receives 250+ channels, Net Flix on demand and Pandora.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range, dishwasher, dishes, good assortment of pots & pans, small appliances, spices, dish towels & utensils. There is a breath taking view of Mt Baring via the pass through to the living room as well as a river view from the kitchen window. The pass through to the dining room allows ease of serving while staying connected with everyone as meals are being prepared.
The memory foam king bed in the downstairs bedroom is cushy comfortable and a TV provides separate satellite programming from the living room TV, both with commercial free movie channels, music, and sports. This room is dark and quiet for a good night's sleep, has a forest view, and regular size closet. The loft has a river view, queen bed and a full futon. The stairs to the loft are not steep or narrow. Good bedside reading lamps are provided.
The private hot tub overlooks the Skykomish River with the majestic Cascade Mountains looming in the background. A real treat is to see beautiful alpen glow on the mountain and eagles flying by in the winter. The hot tub is on a covered deck and accessed directly from the cabin.
Also on the glass-covered deck is a charcoal grill and two rocking chairs.
The lower, larger deck has seasonal dining table/chairs and folding lounge chairs. This deck receives morning sun in the summer and afternoon shade when it's most needed on the occasional hot day.
A camp fire ring in the front yard is next to the river with a mountain view - it's great to be in the mountains with a crackling aromatic fire, listening to the river, with twinkling stars above.
Horseshoes and a picnic table are in the back yard. An assortment of balls and paddles are provided for the children, as well as river tubes (available upon request) when the weather warms and the river level is low.
This is a great mountain cabin to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Guestbook comments from the manager
Last day of vacation. Too sad. Beautiful here. Soo many trees. Loved them. We saw at least 6 eagles. The people here was very friendly and nice. I was afraid of the bridge to cross but took video to prove we did it. Sunny every day. Wish we would of had a little rain. We are from Mesa, AZ. Hope everyone that comes here loves it.
