Amazing views, great location, and very charming, but be prepared for open floor plan

We LOVED this cottage, and look forward to staying here again someday. The location is a great jumping-off point for exploring the Maine coast, convenient to Camden but totally secluded (great stargazing). The views just can't be beat and we enjoyed walking right down to the beach. If we had more time, we would have done lots of hiking right down the street at Camden Hills State Park. We LOVE the hand-tiled and stone shower with the porthole looking out to the ocean! The open floor plan didn't detract from our enjoyment, but we thought should have been made clearer what that meant. Even though it has two bedrooms, the ceilings are all open to each other and the living area, which means that there is no privacy at all for conversation, watching tv, listening to the radio, etc. - you need to really get along (which we do). The bathroom has a separate ceiling but with no wall insulation that doesn't really add any privacy either. Again, this didn't detract from our stay, just think it shouldn't be a surprise for anyone.
